I was going to post about what I did last weekend yesterday, but I was completely knackered after work so I fell asleep. Aaaanyway, @Pidesco invited me to fika on Saturday and so I met him and his lovely family! I had a great time chatting for a few hours about everything between heaven and earth, though in my exitement to go meet him I actually forgot to bring my GPU. So on sunday we met a second time and this time I handed over my massive GPU, which ofcourse led to some more discussions and some fika Eventually we agreed to meet up again, and this time to remember to take a picture to commemorate the meeting! So thank you to Pidesco for a couple of awesome eve's!

I can't blame you there, there has been some really ludicrously long initialisms that has been proposed that people can't keep track of. LGBT+ or LGBTQI+ usually works though.

More that I missed something, If you look to the right of the first picture in my op, there's a "k" there that was supposed to be between the pictures. People were faster in reacting to it than me editing

Haha, yeah, it's a katydid, I honestly saved him for later because he's going to be used to prank my uncle that is literally terrified of them. I'm trying to decide if I'm to put him in his mailbox in a little plastic bag, or if I'm going to recruit my aunt to play him a massive prank

Thank you, yeah, it's been on my shopping list forever aswell, but just as you I've not taken that plunge yet. I'm going to use my credit card now though. I think I might've lost my licence if I did show the cops the video though because I tried to outrun him after a while, I thought I had lost him for a while, but he forced a lorry driver to nearly crash instead, and I was doing about 240km before that. Had it not been for the roadworks I could've lost him. He caught up to me when I tried to hide instead of driving like a madman, there was too much traffic at that point. Thank you, I will ofcourse only hand over the information of his wearabouts to the police, to insure he is dealt with fairly. Atleast my nose stopped bleeding now, it looks about as straight as when I last looked at it a few weeks ago.

Got punched in the face going home from work after a roadraged **** decided to follow me. That was fun. There's no witnesses to it either, and I couldn't fight back since I was in the drivers seat. Police told me to my face that there's not much they can do since I couldn't get the licence plate on his car, but I've got everyone I know looking for his car, it's quite distinct. Atleast I could avoid most of his punches by keeping in the car but he still got me in the nose and cheek, and got a fat lip from it.

I really would like to go to Tornado Alley with some rental car in april-june and hope to see a tornado and some magnificent thunderstorms...

I feel you, I didn't have winds or anything like that, but I had over 100+ lightningstrikes a minute for about 45 minutes yesterday, it was awesome and I loved every minute of it

Ah, yeah, that'd be a reason to use shielded cables, those kind of loads would create enough meaningful magnetic fields to interfere. That said, those cables should/could already be shielded. I don't know how old the build is or if they use a standard labeling system, but you could check the markings on the power cables to see if they themselves have an insulating screen on them. In Sweden they'd be marked "EKLK". Edit; That said it sounds like you live in a Cold War Era bomb proof building, so it might not be

What kind of electrical cables are there in your apartment? How heavy is the load on them, i.e. will your ethernet cable run next to a wire going to something like a heater or such, or just some lights? If it's not going to be running next to cables with a constant heavy load I wouldn't worry too much about it. Also, I don't think Cat 6e is an official standard, 6A is though.
