  1. My condolences WD.
  2. Ohh, I really should go to the local rink sometime, it's been something like 10 years, but I used to love it - until bullies in the team got me tired of hockey.
  3. So. Again; Top of the Hops! ^^
  4. Some pieces from PST worked, and I used them, together with the Cthulhu theme and the Revenant soundtrack, worked excellent. Thanks for the recommendations!
  5. Watched Shadow World, a documentary about global weapons deals, pretty horrifying stuff. Nothing really new that I did'nt have some knowledge of before, except how ugly politicians are. Currently watching Citizen Four, we'll see how that turns out. Citizen Four was good, both of these documentaries are worth a watch, but Shadow World was definetly more informative for me than Citizen Four.
  6. Ah, I blame that on being groggy, got some really nice pills for the back pain. But they are pretty heavy, not taking them again. Good history then. A word of caution though, my car has been serviced in big auto-shops for it's entire lifetime, up until I took over ownership. And while it's good up until a point, they do take alot of shortcuts and also overtighten bolts. My oil drainage plug has been tightened so hard the threads in my oil pan has gone, same with one of the sparkplugs, they've propably used impact wrenches to tighten them. They do the service allright, but they try to speed things up too much.
  7. I'm pining for my boss, it's not awkward at all. >_>' You really like your Hondas, don't you? =) How does it seem to be mechanically? I'd reckon it might've been driven hard, no bad smell from the engine ventilation? Coolant colour looks ok? Why did you regret giving up your Volvo for one?
  8. Watching Beverly Hills Cop, smoking cigarillos and drinking rum and playing Jagged Alliance 2. I have to have some pleasure after this week.
  9. In all likelyhood, those were small company owners or semi-rich people. It was the case here in Sweden, but probably it's the same in DE, that despite there being a lot of people taxevading, the extent was just recently brought to light with for instance the Panama documents. There were alot of Swedish tax-money missing, and the documents showed alot of people that were evading taxes in different ways, including criminals and known drugdealers, but despite this exactly 0 people have been brought charges with thus so far. And banks here willingly help people evade. Some of the rich people have a direct line to the chiefs of tax offices here. The rich get richer and the poor can get stuffed I suppose.
  10. Pulled my back yesterday, today I got a cold. Oh, and my vacation is over on monday. Life is good.
  11. “The Logician” (INTP-A) Analyst Confident Individualism Last time I got https://forums.obsidian.net/topic/83023-16-personalities/?p=1746728
  12. Spent the early day with trying to get my clutch sorted, got a different master clutch cylinder, brand new slave cylinder, braided hose from the master to the slave (Meaning there should be zero losses due to expansion and flexing). We force fed the slave with brakefluid with a primitive homemade "pump" (50cl plastic fizzy drink bottle with a hole drilled into the lid and a rubber hose to fit over the nipple), bled the system as well as we could. Still no real fricking improvement. I did have a sudden flash of inspiration, I reckon that the plastic pedal might be flexing a bit, though it might not be the case. The clutch only frees the flywheel at the very last millimetres of travel, and the pressure does'nt feel that great. still might be worth looking into. This is driving me "slightly" aggravated.
  13. Yeah, they never make mistakes, you do, wether you've done something or not. You will always end up paying for their mistakes sadly :/
  14. Looked for spare parts that I need today, travelled all over western Sweden between different junkyards and similar that was unconnected and did'nt have an inventory. No luck. So I went to a specialist store and bought a steelspun hose(Edit; Braided hose!) and connections and ordered a new slave cylinder. Going to mount it tomorrow and hopefully get that ****ing clutch to work properly. My father drove me around in his car, and I can honestly say that I'm pretty damn envious of his engine. 0-60 in about 4 seconds. In a car looking like this; Just not as nice. I really want a better paid job so that I can catch up to him
  15. Changed my clutch today, went better than expected, small amount of annoyances and hassles. The clutch slave cylinder had oxidized and was stuck though, so I had to remove the entire piping system from the main clutch cylinder to the slave, and then fetch a piece of wood and sledgehammer to get it loose. All polished up now though, so that should'nt be a worry for a while. Then I had to test to declutch. Nope! No go. After airing the system we discovered that the old rubber hose that volvo thought was a good idea to use for the pressurized system was swelling and shifting something awful when I tried to use the clutch. So I have to get a steel reinforced hose, or make the entire system out of steel pipes, Also have to empty out all the brakefluid and change it out for fresh fluid, it was some of the nastiest fluid I've ever seen. Not frustrated at all. Edit; Sirhopalot? Hiphops? Topofthehops?
  16. That's a good thing. I'd rather not the Swedish government be sued because we don't want people mining or drilling oil in certain places.
  17. 1. Be hardcore, wear diapers. 2. Be hardercore, say no to relationships. 3. Tell the rat to find it's on treats, show him who's hardcorest! Been playing Overwatch, that's more than enough to satisfy my mp needs. The only reason why I stick with it is because of RL friends, otherwise I hardly would have the energy to bother with it. There's way too much salt. I just wish that Cyberpunk 2077 would arrive soon.
  18. Bought one myself, to try it out, and I preferred the old style of cigarettes that I used before I quit. The smoke is'nt as tasty, it's really lacking. :/
  19. I really liked the Revenant soundtrack, it is'nt as demanding of ones attention as classical songs. And thanks for making me feel like a true pleb! :D
  20. Realized how much I'm out of touch with politics when I heard that CETA had'nt been dragged into the backyard and given a shot in the back of the head. It also reminded me how much I hate EU and how I really, really am scared of the moneyhungry politicians around the world, not to mention megacorps. They're not the ones that are going to have to pay for this. Also; Atleast Wallonia has given me a glimmer of hope.
  21. Some awesome vistas there, quite envious!
  22. True, but that's semantics, it's nowhere economical XD There is indeed, boost though. I cannot deny that! 3 tonnes! If I load that full of people and a handfull of baggage, I would need a truck drivers licence! I'll stick to my trusty Volvo, it's light and nimble with it's 1.6 tonnes. It's so more economical with it's 25mpg
  23. I thought he was going to get money from the insuarance company for is old car? Anyway, I think it's better to get a cheaper alternative, and then start saving for a newer car if that is something you really want. I'm pretty certain that if you jump back a few years on the cars age you can still get a decent Japanese car. Is there anything that prohibits you from getting an older car Calax? Or do you 'have' to buy it from work?
  24. I think you misunderstood me on the mpg part, I was more referring to the "EcoBoost" part, the name is silly in that it implies something it relaly is'nt =) I don't doubt the japs are as thirsty, one bit. The car probably weighs near two tonnes...
