What? What? What is this thread? What? You're assuming a lot of x means less y, when this is obviously not the case. Those things aren't mutually exclusive and it opens story possibilities into itself. In the other thread someone mentioned story/game mechanics that could tie into them to give the player more freedom.

Where is everyone from

- Yep, it's all of European emigrants', who brought the PAL TV system to Israel in its beginning, fault that today we can't bring normal electronics from USA. If my education doesn't fail me isn't Isreal also geographically Asia? Probably not the best source but the fastest I found. http://www.worldatla...countrys/as.htm - It was common classical (by classical i mean academic) belief up until late 20th - beginning of 21th century, and yet not commonly known (not to speak about changing economical models or whatsoever demands investments of money and/or administrative resources), when last discoveries and studies revealed that Israel's eastern boundary (which stretches along Jordan river) actually stretches along African-Asian tectonic division and consequently almost entire Israel's area lays on African continent. Consequently, concerning your question: maybe (even if) your education does fail, it is obviously not your fault. Non the less you're right it saying that "Israel also geographically Asia" - it is in its small northern part (that is why i use word almost), but because it is small even in terms of tiny Israel i omitted its mention in first post (who thought that topic would require additional clarification). State of Israel is too small to catch attention of academical geographical mainstream. Additional sources are: http://en.wikipedia....d_Sea#Geography and http://en.wikipedia....d_Sea_Transform . Thank you, interesting to know. -

There should be one higher than 3 Million as well. The highest stretchgoal should only barely be able to reached. My understanding is that the home we get from curent stretch goal will be more akin to AP's safe houses: a place to crash with added signatures depending on your game progression. A full fledged upgradable manor with ressource management and narrative signifiance (à la NW2) would take a lot more work. I see to remember Mr Sawyer confirmed so, though I can't remember where. The Sink, not the AP safehouse. Meaning speicfic quests/upgradable in some way. Just not something big.

Dialogue & Stealth
C2B replied to Chippy's topic in Pillars of Eternity: General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)
IIRC correctly you were one of the level designers on DSIII, right? That had those problems in boss fights, but it didn't matter as much IMO due to the battle system (Still, was gamebreaking for someone I know). Unreleated but why did you do that in DSIII and what did you learn from it? -
What? What has rooting to do with anything? This thread IS about Ziets and I just mentioned that there are other good crpg designers also when diablo said that we had everyone with him. (And that was just a misunderstanding) Please don't turn this into a popularity contest. There are few things I hate more.

Thanks Bobby for the tease ^^ It has been discussed. Is it going to happen? Keep checking the updates to find out. George is not only a talented writer, but he is one of the nicest guys I've ever worked with. Would be awesome to team up again on PE. God this is such a tease, i certainly hope it happens. With Ziets added you've got virtually every still working great CRPG designer involved in the project. Sorry, have to disagree here immensly. There's a lot of really talented CRPG designers out there who are also still working in the industry.

Not feeling European is totally fine. So do a lot of swiss people, actually (we're not even in the union). But, outright denying that England belongs to Europe is just geographically wrong. -

OMG ITS ON WIKIPEDIA IT MUST BE TRUE Many Britons don't consider themselves "European." We never had Napoleonic Code, we eat proper breakfasts and it falls to us to sort out the Germans every century or so. Please leave us alone. It is true. Like it's literary fact. FACT. I know some people just need to feel *super special*, but seriously dude. -
Hall of Heroes - Additional thought

Meaning that you want a 'user-editor' to allow you to give them personality? That seems thousand miles more complex. No? It's a simple text field I write the history in. This isn't really revolutionary. -
Hall of Heroes - Additional thought

Not really. Please no, actually. I want to create my own personal backstories for the NPC's if I go that route. Not having to choose between several pre-made ones. If anything, we should have additional options in dialog to reflect the personality I gave them and chose them accordingly. -
Great Update As for pets, don't make it a dog as mentioned.
