Oh, that in any case. Thanks. Just for future consideration.

If they had posted it the next day, that wouldn't change the fact that you had already stayed up so late. I'm sure if they knew, 24 hours ago, that they were going to have trouble with it, they would've reacted accordingly. Just be thankful for what you have. You know, there are plenty of game fans in other forums who go simply go update-less until the game comes out, and then they have to guess as to how good it is, and cross-reference game-review magazines. u_u... NOW EAT YOUR PEAS! /jest Naturally I meant, posting it on the next day after informing people about it. (If they're still working on the video itself).

It's ok. But, can you finish the video/update earlier on a further occasion? Or just post it on the next day? I basically stayed up the entire night over here in the middle of europe. And the waiting isn't fun if I could have just as well slept through the night. Just take your international fans into consideration, if possible.

PC Gamer Interview with Chris Avellone
C2B replied to Stun's topic in Pillars of Eternity: General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)
I don't think he meant it that way. And no, Orlean's aren't *cat people*. According to Sawyer not every Orlan looks even similiar to feline. Also, from what we heard about Orlean culture, I don't really see the Khajit connection at all. There's probably a misunderstanding somewhere here when he gave that interview. Either on the Interviewers or Chris side. -
Aren't The Avengers, Thor and Ironman all Marvel and Paramount productions? Avengers wasn't. Hmmm, my bluray version has paramount on the credits, not Disney. I'm soooo confused! yup, distrubted not produced. Sorry, didn't read your post correctly. Am wrong.

Atmosphere exist for a reason. People like stuff for a reason. Compeltely flipping the atmosphere of an established character/franchise is just moronic. Then why are you on the Obsidian forums? Because that's like what they do to a large part. Hell, they had a dark and edgy snow white game in development Also, Imo, my complaint is that Epic Mickey didn't take the idea far enough.

Yeah, but I don't really want pure walking dead style, but with more gameplay mixed in aside. And I don't mean combat. In Alpha Protocol, for example: I'd like to have seen more spy gameplay stuff and abilities related to it.

Obsidian currently working on next-gen console title

I'm reminded that last years cancellation of Obsidian's secret game was around GDC too.

Well that does seem to fit Disney's shift to a "licensing model", so I'd speculate that the odds have improved. Pretty much. They're also open to having 1313 saved by licensing, so it doesn't seem like they want to prevent pre-new movies games

Good for you guys, few more projects like P:E and you will be disgustingly rich. Also love your UO avatar. Actually that's the exact opposite, in order to get filthy rich they need to sell to a big time publisher. Kickstarter simply covers base salaries and operating costs, it's not really a windfall. ? Yes, but he probably meant more Obsidian gaining money through the sales of P:E.

*2D* prerendered background. As far as I understand works a bit different than 3D.

Yeah, for a hastily thrown together, rough proof of concept it's mighty impressive. Also, once they update their PayPal page I'm going to throw a $12 Digital Numenera Torment Sourcebook onto my $75 Digital Numenera Seeker tier. You got me again, Brian Fargo. Well played, sir. Well played indeed. I'm thinking this is because of the Obsidian collabaration already, considering how far this video look.
-
Also Justin actually left since then.

And *touched up* in that eternity screenshot is how it will be ingame. Its how it was in infinity game. Its how it most likely is in the Torment screenshot. That said, yeah its early. And I'm not really complaining. Just comparing. As said, its great!.

P:E isn't handpainted either. They are done the same way. And what unpainted P:E one? And again, didn't talk about art style (which is awesome)
-
I don't think its looking as good as Project: Eternity's (And I'm not talking about art direction. Multiple parts of it look blurry and detail-less, especially compared to the shrine), that said still looks awesome and tormenty.

I wanted to choose the last option, but then you put 50 shades of gray in the description and I just couldn't do it.

They don't seem to be described as owners, but founders. Not necessarily the same. "Founders" would have an ownership stake, but it can actually be a small minority stake depending on the sources of capital for starting the company, etc. From your phrasing, I can't tell if you're saying you know particularly about Obsidian, or if you're just saying founders are owners. This 5 are the only owners i think. Not by the same perscentage, Feargus owns the bigest share and the other's shares may vary, i don't know. I'm not so sure Feargus owns the biggest actually. Darren invested a lot too. I think it was mentioned once by Feargus or someone else, but don't remember when.

Owners and Founders. Trust me on that. They are refered as such all over including in discussions with (ex)employees. Also their Linkedin-profiles says. I know particulary about Obsidian, do a lot of research. Ofc, research can be wrong too if sources aren't correct.

Yes, the owners own it. Feargus, Avellone, Parker, Jones and Darren. It's not owned by anybody else. AFAIK.
