Interplay was in the gaming industry and *I* could have run the company better. -
Bioware/Pandemic and investor relationship
Arkan replied to Hurlshort's topic in Computer and Console
I don't quite get how it removes limits from creativity. Any liscenced game BIO does will have to go through any approval of the publisher/owner of said liscense, right? Of course, this could mean that BIO won't have to worry about funding (is BIO worried about funding?) if it does inhouse IPs. and if successful, could help smaller dev houses get into the business... wait, did I just debunk my own argument? VILE WEED! BTW, we won't really know if this works out for a few years will we? I mean, isn't BIO working on several titles that will eat up the next few years? -

If he does mention it could you post something please ? It dosnt look like that will be getting a UK release And I'd hate to import it if it's crap. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Not a problem.

I haven't asked him about it in a while, but I will...then again, he's a Lunar fanboy, hehe... Too bad Working Designs didn't do this one

Are you buy chance, some sort of farmer?

Don't forget you can fish and mine too and cook :D Must admit I'm having difficulty seeing the long term draw as well. You never know. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Great, now I've got to do most of my daily chores twice! Ah I can't wait! But yeah, you never know...them Asians is wacky sometimes...

Nintendo always come up with fun games. I've had great fun playing DS games recently. The wand thing is a bit out there when you first see it . But it really seems to have captured the imaginations of the Japanese developers and thats where innovation tends to come from. I think anyone who wants to see more than Halo V or Fifa 2022 should support Nintendo just out of principle. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Speaking of which, my brother is probably near finished with Lunar: Dragon Song (which was his sole reason for buying a DS, go figure), he's going to let me borrow it. Any game suggestions?

From what I've heard is that he has been working this offseason. I'm telling you. Cats, don't sleep. He's making big moves, mayne.

Agreed. I mean, it's a black Space Ghost...come on... BTW, some of these costumes look like they took a great deal of time and care...both of which could have been better used to continue creating NWN2. BACK TO YOUR POSTS, NOW!

Which is why I respect Nintendo a little more (it feels we're saying that, but whatever). They're more about innovation and gameplay that clammoring (sp?) to the graphics whores. It's bit them in the ass before, but I'd rather have new and inventive ways to play games than simply an upgrade of graphics... And really the only reason I'm semi-interested in the 360 is for Oblivion, but for that I'll just borrow my brothers after he inevitably buys in and quits using it.

Never played a Harvest Moon game ? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> It's online farming we're talking here right? I don't care what you're farming, it's still farming...in a video game.... It's one thing to kill some time with a single player 'harvesting' game, but to pay monthly fees to spend most of your time online...farming... it's just not right. I mean what's next? Stock Market MMOG?

Oh yeah? Well...well, you're stupid! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> That may be, but that doesn't change the fact that this is a stupid idea for a game.

Best of luck with that one. According to Nintendo there will be no screenshots of any revolution games. Gears of War is impressive in 1080 as would most things. However most games wont run it and you wont get it without a deluxe 360 and a HD TV so it's definately worth pointing that out. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Seriously. The only time I play video games is when I have a little extra free time (between classes, before nighty-night time, etc) in my dorm room. Now, I play on a small 19 inch regular television. I guess the Xbox360 isn't for me?

Oh my god... Are you really that dense, or are you just trying to fit in. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> You know, you catch more bees with honey than you do with vinegar. That being said, I'm obviously not trying to "fit in." That seems to be you with your constant praising of the mainstream XBox 360. If you must know I finally got around to purchasing a Gamecube a few months ago. Only console I own. How's that for trying to fit in? We'll just have to wait and see when this stuff is finally released. Still, I'm less than impressed by doctored screenshots. And if you think they aren't doctored, you're the one who's incredibly dense. Now, kindly get over yourself.

This is stupid. I'm sorry, but it is.

Sorry guys. It's Miami all the way.

Hard to say since they are playing their cards so close to their chests. I was reading the Eurogamer forum and a couple of people are getting fed up with the same old stuff so it could be time for a change and Nintendo have been pretty good at capitalising on it. I keep having dreams about how I could use a revolution controller <{POST_SNAPBACK}> <{POST_SNAPBACK}> My thoughts exactly.

I agree. Aren't next gen games supposed to be better by leaps and bounds and whatnot?
-
Yes...yes he is...

You never know. I'm sure some elements of it will make it into NwNII whether or not people realise they are elements of Jefferson , well thats another matter. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Possibly. And I doubt Jefferson could be done properly as an expansion. T'would have to be a full blown game.

Entertainment Weekly Polls: Video Game Movies
Arkan replied to kumquatq3's topic in Computer and Console
They should make a video game of that Mario Brothers movie I saw a while back. It was pretty cool. And sorry, GTA would simply be another run of the mill action movie. -
What happens if the company goes out of business and you can no longer get the game?

What is your Xmen II dream team?
Arkan replied to ShadowPaladin V1.0's topic in Computer and Console
^ I see...thanks, SP. I wonder if I'm going to like this game as much as I did the last one.
