The average age for gamers is 29. I think the did this poll on TechTV a while back, or something. So 30y/o is about average in terms of age.

Those stupid little sequences where you have to tap a certain combination of buttons. It's total BS. I'm at the part when you confront Krausser and there are a bunch of those little "features" and they keep changing the order. This was a good game up until this point, but this shxt seriously diminishes the experience, taking the game down a few notches in my eyes. ****

Also, I'm surprised the human ships were so extremely underpowerd. Slow, a primary weapon that is easy to stop/destroy, and a less-than-stellar alt fire. Where are the powerful phasers...the photon/quantum torpedoes (hey, the ships were designed like star trek ships).

My favorite ships are the Utwig Jugger and the Chmmr Avatar. Though the most badass ship is the (the name escapes me atm) ship that can cloak and spews powerful flames. That ship would be totally unfair in multiplayer if you knew where your own ship was.

Hey, I was a huge RE2 fan (it was the only one I had played). Loved it. Only got a chance to play RE3 once for a short while. This one just looked too good to pass up. Pretty fun so far.

Thanks, though I got it working earlier. Now I've gotten a lot farther in the game. (relatively) I've had to rely on some cheap tactics, but I've survived (hey, that's the name of the game, right? I also have to aim with the D-pad and not the analogue stick, though.

If backwards combatability is a factor for you isn't the PS3 a better choice, seeing as you can play games back to the PS1? I thought the XBOX 360 would only have a certain percentage (read: best sellers) of games that would be backwards compatible. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I don't know about that. It may be true, but it will turn a lot of people off from the 360 if they can't play their favorite (whether or not it was a best seller) game on the brand new shiney box. Of course, if this is true, I'll probably be getting a PS3 first (if I get any in the foreseeable future)

I'd say a good 90% of the games I really enjoy these days are Japanese in origin. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> No doubt. I just meant that being Japanese in origin, it's kind of a given.

I don't want to get one, but I do want to play more than 2 games a year, and I want to play them without problems (more or less). I'd probably get the 360 or PS3. Probably XBox to play the back catalogue of games.

I'm having problems at the beginning of the game. When I get to the little town I can take care of the first wave of people easily. The second group...I take a beating, but I'm still standing. I open a door and a wave of...uh...bad guys advances. Is there anyway I can run...or jog...or go faster than Leon's slow walk?

True, it's what's behind the numbers/letters, that count. But 96% out of 100% is damn near perfect, and there are flaws in the game that make it nowhere near perfect.

You're absolutely wrong on this one, Voly. There is such a thing as customer/consumer loyalty, and it is a big part of economics.

Hmmm... Just got RE4 and I must say the game looks great. Of course, without a mouse a keyboard, I'll have to get used to the controls of a shooter with a controller.
