  1. they're both platformers? I dunno, maybe you consider Uncharted 2 an action-RPG What? I'm not really sure what the hell are you trying to say.
  2. How are Shadows of the Colossus and Uncharted 2 part of the same genre?
  3. Caravan is super-easy even if you have only the most basic understanding of the rules, so I don't really see the problem.
  4. There's also a "help" menu all dedicated to Caravan that you can consult every time you pause the game.
  5. Now that I think about it the OP means that Dead Money was being worked on already in August. Wonder what Zane Lyon's working on. The other DLC?
  6. She teaches you the move as long as you give her a Formal Dress or a White Glove Society Dress, so you can really just hire her to give her that dress and then dismiss her when she's taught you the move. Take into account that it's fairly buggy and that in certain conditions the perk may not be added to your character.
  7. Well, strictly "melee", I'm not sure if there's any move. "Unarmed" has at least 2 that I remember, one you can get from Veronica and one from the ex-ranger in Novac.
  8. Actually there's a few special moves that you can get taught in game that work real-time.
  9. Some people thought that somehow the PC version would have been a "true notary-verified DA:O experience". Turn out they'll get the same thing as the consoles. There's no pulled camera in the footage shown, so I don't really see how that's relevant anyway.
  10. Based on that pic or is there a vid somewhere where you can see them? Either way, hopefully they are at least better than in DA. Based on this video Hawke has about the same wealth of expressions that the Grey Warden had.. except with the voice acting it's all the more jarring. Also the combat footage seems taken from the PC version and unsurprisingly it looks exactly the same as the console version with a quickbar. There's very little of it, too.
  11. Facial animations are surprisingly bad for a Bioware game. And yeah, characters looks plastic-y in the screenshots too. It was probably intentional though, they didn't look that bad in Origins from that point of view (they look like apes without hair, sure, but not like plastic dolls).
  12. Old, but for some reason they re-uploaded it. Weird.
  13. This guy apparently did focus testing for Dead Money He's obviously under NDA so he doesn't really spill much. I wouldn't too if I was posting in a forum where Josh Sawyer was likely to notice me spilling the beans. EDIT: Emphasis, of course, on the "apparently".
  14. You work for OXM, don't you Morgoth?
  15. Maybe they've started working on the Wheel of Time RPG? They had a deal with EA if I recall correctly.
  16. Does it matter? Unsubstantiated rumors are fun.
  17. The Brotherhood had already accomplished its mission though. There was really no need for protection in the first place.
  18. You got it backwards, he was cut off BECAUSE he helped the locals.
  19. Diablo did that and it certainly wasn't designed with console in mind. Honestly, there are many reasons why potions are far from being the best health regeneration mechanic in Action RPGs, and 'consolization' is about the 4th or 5th that comes to mind.
  20. ....is the guy using Google translator or what?
  21. I could swear Xardas rambled about the gods and how about clearly since I succeeded that far I had their favor. But that doesn't count I guess? Are you seriously arguing that you felt like the Chosen One in Gothic? Really? Just arguing that it's not like there's no ego-stroking in Pyranha Bytes' games.
  22. I could swear Xardas rambled about the gods and how about clearly since I succeeded that far I had their favor. But that doesn't count I guess?
  23. Did I somehow imagine the prophecy involving the main character?
