  1. Even Alpha Protocol got gaming magazine covers. Dungeon Siege III? Not even one. A fairly bad sign if you ask me.
  2. That trailer looks like pure ****.
  3. ....what's there to giggle about?
  4. While it's clear that the guy enjoyed it I wouldn't call that exactly a "classic" endorsement either.
  5. Also, assuming that preview is legit, there's only a total of 4 characters to choose from. It'd be a little disappointing... EDIT: Of course, that's also assuming that the Google translation is decent, and considering I couldn't make half of it...
  6. It doesn't mean what I think it means right? What do you think it means? That he already played the original. Which means that he can get the Enhanced Edition patch for free.
  7. It doesn't mean what I think it means right?
  8. Nothing interesting so far. My wallet is saying thanks to Valve.
  9. Preview shouldn't hype a game they should describe what they see fairly. That's not saying that they can't believe that the game is superior to DA:O, before someone jumps at my throat for being a Bioware hater.
  10. According to Google they complain about lack of inspiration in the dialogues and lack of ambition. Of course, it's a shifty Russian blog with a Dungeon Siege II screenshot so yeah.
  11. Not that much new but it's something.
  12. Dead Money's out. Now stop whining and tell us if it's good, you console peasants. ...honestly though, this exclusive DLC thing is grating, especially because, this time, despite the setting looking far removed from everything that comes to mind when I think "Fallout", the DLC seems interesting (compare that to Operation Anchorage..).
  13. Timed dialogue =/= QTE
  14. I'm personally not sure if I'd want to see dialogue time limits in Mass Effect though. Certainly not for all dialogue. The structure is completely different from Alpha Protocol.
  15. Well, the press-thingie is really after the intro anyway, from what I can see. The intro is pretty long, though.
  16. You'd think that people here would be more enthusiastic about that guy considering he's one of the few that goes all excited about Alpha Protocol.
  17. [ad hominem]virumor loves Two Worlds 2. He's not a credible source.[/ad hominem] Serious: I dunno, I personally saw all of that in New Vegas, though it isn't necessarily what sandbox players search in their games as far as I've seen. And at least on the "fleshed out" part Bethesda was pretty good at that. For all the bad writing that Fallout 3 had and some really nonsensical world building there were bits and pieces of brilliance and a lot of notes and stuff. It was certainly a world with a coherent vision even if the execution left a lot to be desired. The quest design was improved to compared to Oblivion. I don't know, it may be weird for me to say, but I think there are reasons to be optimists about this game. Granted, I'm taking a wait-and-see approach. Never been a fan of The Elder Scrolls, the only good game of the saga for me is Morrowind.
  18. Bump! So Funcroc, who's this guy? He's apparently the Project Director on Mustang's new project ...god, I feel like a stalker. And not one of those with gas masks either.
  19. .....you wanted to keep in line with the game's quest naming theme of horrible horrible puns, right Lexx? I'll probably check it out after I finish my energy weapons playthrough. Dammit if Mr. House isn't condescending to an extreme. Also, since we were talking about mods, the guys that did FWE are working on this. I like the fact that it's modular, since I'm actually finding the balance of NV, while easy, enjoyable and we've yet to see how it'll play out when all the add-ons are out etc.
  20. Dunno if I'd call the wording unequivocal. For all we know, they could just be referring to the interrupts in their answer. EDIT: Well, okay, I rewatched the video. It looks like a confirmation after all.
  21. As far as I know, it is common practice, there's plenty of unused stuff for Dragon Age: Origins too for example. KOTORII was kinda more unused stuff than used though, so that's a special case I guess. And I do remember some previews touting Victor as a companion, yeah, though honestly, I think the way he is right now works. I wonder if it can be restored with a little GECK fiddling though... I remember Zoraptor looked a little around the files, and find some things that were, well, not cut but rather changed in the final draft of the game. Maybe you could ask him?
  22. I think it depended on platform. It had FF for most difficulties on PC, but I think it only had FF for one of them on the consoles. Damn console peasants.
  23. DA:O had FF for most difficulties though, not only for Nightmare. So there was a change.
  24. Plus, I mean, he's Danny Trejo. Granted, he often ****s up the timing in his dialogue, but I still liked his performance overall.
