Neverwinter Nights 2: Storm of Zehir Discussion
Jaesun replied to CoM_Solaufein's topic in Computer and Console
Please please please please for the love of all that is holy... PLEASE add Tony K's AI to the Official NWN2 NPC behavior. -
For PC: [NWN - SoU] NWN just bored me to tears. Supposedly it is good, but... I just could never get into NWN. NWN2 on the other hand I LOVE <3 For Amiga: I still have quite a few discs of games I never did finish, due to the fact I had more of a social life then than I do now. :/ Bloodnet - I loved the concept of this game at the time. Never finished it though. Star Trek: 25th Anniversary - I am a huge Star Trek fan, but again, never finished this.

Your Top 10 Favorite Games of All Time
Jaesun replied to jaguars4ever's topic in Computer and Console
Well, based off of the games I replay the most: 1. Fallout 2. Fallout 2 3. BG/TotSC 4. BG2/ToB 5. Vampire: Bloodlines 6. PS:T 7. System Shock 2 8. Deus Ex 9. NWN2 OC+MotB 10. KotOR2 -
I wasn't aware that the 360 couldn't handle portable beds. OK I'll upgrade my interest to "Mildly Interested, but still cautious".

I've taken such intarweb tests before and they are usually not done very well. This one was actually pretty good. Though I am not surprised with what I got. And apparantly I suck at being evil. :/ Neutral Good Human Bard (5th Level) Ability Scores: Strength- 10 Dexterity- 12 Constitution- 11 Intelligence- 15 Wisdom- 13 Charisma- 15 Alignment: Neutral Good- A neutral good character does the best that a good person can do. He is devoted to helping others. He works with kings and magistrates but does not feel beholden to them. Neutral good is the best alignment you can be because it means doing what is good without bias for or against order. However, neutral good can be a dangerous alignment because it advances mediocrity by limiting the actions of the truly capable. Race: Humans are the most adaptable of the common races. Short generations and a penchant for migration and conquest have made them physically diverse as well. Humans are often unorthodox in their dress, sporting unusual hairstyles, fanciful clothes, tattoos, and the like. Class: Bards- Bards often serve as negotiators, messengers, scouts, and spies. They love to accompany heroes (and villains) to witness heroic (or villainous) deeds firsthand, since a bard who can tell a story from personal experience earns renown among his fellows. A bard casts arcane spells without any advance preparation, much like a sorcerer. Bards also share some specialized skills with rogues, and their knowledge of item lore is nearly unmatched. A high Charisma score allows a bard to cast high-level spells. Good & Evil: Good ---- XXXXXXXXXXXXX (13) Neutral - XXXXXXXXXXXX (12) Evil ---- (0)

I loved Divine Divinity when it came out. I mean it's the only RPG that has a PORTABLE BED, that you can put in your backpack! That was so awesome. Since this was designed with the 360 in mind, my interest in this lowered greatly. I'll just wait till I hear more.

BREAKING NEWS: NEW EXCLUSIVE FALLOUT 3 TRAILER
Jaesun replied to Llyranor's topic in Computer and Console
Oops, I forgot the source: http://www.bit-tech.net/gaming/2008/08/04/...ds-on-preview/1 Becoming a Slaver in Fallout 2, this will make you hated by many people you'll meet in the game (Sulik, Cassidy and Keith Wright being some of the most important). Also you cannot even do certain quests. Bethesdas Fallout 3: "I know I'm a Slaver Sulik, but come on! Give me a Second Chance!". -

Fallout 3 features the NEW Second Chances -
You are wrong. I have played the NWN2 OC 3 times WITHOUT playing a "Power Build" and loved every minute of it. You can still play any build you like, and still have a good time in the game.

Ultima 9. WTF? Eye of the Beholder III. WTF? I really should not post while drinking. :D

BREAKING NEWS: NEW EXCLUSIVE FALLOUT 3 TRAILER
Jaesun replied to Llyranor's topic in Computer and Console
It is best described as "A Fallout 3 mod for Oblivion". I think that sums it up best. -
This is a modified JACK OF HEARTS build from the Bioware site. I don't have the link to the guy who made up this build though, so sorry to him. Anyways here is your level progression: STR: 16(22) DEX: 10 CON: 12 WIS: 8 INT: 14 CHA: 16(22) {Quick To Master, Skilled} Lvl 01: Bard(1): Background: Tale-Teller, Power Attack, Able Learner, {Bardic Knowledge, Inspiration, Inspire Courage, Countersong, Fascinate, Armored Caster (Bard)} Lvl 02: Bard(2): {Inspire Competence} Lvl 03: Cleric(1): Divine Might, {Turn Undead, Spontaneous Conversion, Evasion, Feint} Lvl 04: Bard(3): str+1, {Haven Song}, (STR=17) Lvl 05: Bard(4) Lvl 06: Red Dragon Disciple(1): Practiced Spellcaster (bard), {Natural Armor Increase} Lvl 07: Red Dragon Disciple(2): {Dragon Abilities}, (STR=19) Lvl 08: Red Dragon Disciple(3): cha+1, {Dragon Breath}, (CHA=17) Lvl 09: Cleric(2): Divine Shield Lvl 10: Red Dragon Disciple(4): (STR=21) Lvl 11: Bard(5) Lvl 12: Bard(6): cha+1, Blind-Fight, {Inspire Defense}, (CHA=18) Lvl 13: Bard(7): {Cloud Mind} Lvl 14: Bard(: {Inspire Regeneration} Lvl 15: Bard(9): Curse Song, {Inspire Toughness} Lvl 16: Bard(10): cha+1, {Ironskin Chant}, (CHA=19) Lvl 17: Bard(11) Lvl 18: Bard(12): Extend Spell, {Inspire Slowing} Lvl 19: Bard(13): {Song of Freedom} Lvl 20: Bard(14): cha+1, (CHA=20) Lvl 21: Bard(15): Great Charisma I, {Inspire Jarring}, (CHA=21) Lvl 22: Bard(16): {Song of Heroism} Lvl 23: Bard(17): Epic Divine Might Lvl 24: Bard(18): str+1, (STR=22) Lvl 25: Bard(19): Chorus of Heroism, {Legionnaire's March} Lvl 26: Bard(20) Lvl 27: Bard(21): Lingering Song Lvl 28: Bard(22): cha+1, (CHA=22) Lvl 29: Bard(23): Song of Requiem Lvl 30: Bard(24): Hymn of Requiem Skills end up kinda like this, but since I removed the 2 levels of Paladin (which require an Alignment change), I removed the paladin and got Divine Shield with the 2nd level of cleric. I'm not good at my D&D math, but this is close to how you end up: Skills Skillpoints: 269 Bluff: 33(40) Concentration: 33 Diplomacy: 33(39) Intimidate: 16(22) Lore: 8(34) Perform: 33(39) Spellcraft: 25(27) Spot: 33(32) Tumble: 30(29) Use Magic Device: 25(31) This guy simply is an untouchable (Mirror Image+Displacement+Divine Shield), lethal, killing and Skill check MASTER. After playing this, I cant ever play another class again! Always wanted that Spellcraft check to get the 1 precious Influence point with Grobnar? Now you can! Want to 0wn Torio in the trial? Now you can! I cannot recommend this build enough. Have fun!
-
I'm playing the NWN2 OC again, I just finished 0wning Torio in the trial. That was so awesome. <3 I found a VERY cool Bard build, specifically designed for the OC+MotB. I can finish every quest the way I want to, skill wise. Pure awesome. Now If I can kick Lorne's butt, I'll know for certain that this build is TEH AWESOME. I could post the build if anyone is curious.

The Sound / The Voices / The Music
Jaesun replied to Pop's topic in Alpha Protocol: General Discussion
I had thought that voice acting was done fairly early in production. At least that is what one Bioware dev mentioned in his blog. Maybe Obsidian does this differently. Considering the outstanding voice acting done with Mask of the Betrayer, I can only guess the voices in AP will be good. I just hope Mr. Thorton's voice will be sexy. Rarwr. -
Not really. I have been using Tony K's 1.10, with that hotfix of his, with 1.13 and so far I haven't had a problem. Also, none of my other mods are breaking the game so I think 1.13 is mostly, if not completely, mod friendly for those who used 1.12 as a template. Really? Perhaps then I'll give 1.13 a go and hope Tony K's don't break anything. :D Thanks for letting me know!
-
Bleh, now I have to wait to d/l until Tony K's AI is updated for 1.13.

BREAKING NEWS: NEW EXCLUSIVE FALLOUT 3 TRAILER
Jaesun replied to Llyranor's topic in Computer and Console
And there is a new talking race of creatures (if my sources are correct). Not that this is out of the ordinary of Fallout 2... But... seriously. ugh. -
OEI is looking for a lead artist for an upcoming undisclosed title
Jaesun replied to funcroc's topic in Obsidian General
A 3rd expansion pack is very very unlikely. I would LOVE to hear they are doing KotOR 3, but I still see that as unlikely as well. So... another new IP? OR MAYBE a D&D 4th ed game? mmm speculation. Or... NWN3.. heh. -
LOL that's what I thought at first too. heh.

Neverwinter Nights 2: Storm of Zehir Discussion
Jaesun replied to CoM_Solaufein's topic in Computer and Console
Since this might be the last CRPG to use 3E, it's kinda revelent......or maybe not I'm not a Moderator, but all the last posts have been discussing how 4.0 sucks. Unless your are Gromnir. I actually like the 4.0 ED, except for the whole Helm and Lathander thing. Crap, now I'm getting sucked into this vortex... :/ -
OK I see what you mean. Well yes without the Spirit Meter, the Rest System for MotB is basically the same, though yea, you would not be able to rest in the crossroads keep siege, in that i *believe* the rest checks for more enemies near by and yea there is the whole 8 hours do transpire. I didn't need to rest in the crossroads keep siege, but we all play NWN2 differently.
