  2. Heh, found out that a few years ago, three of the actors from the old Highlander tv show got together and filmed their own "fan version" of a couple of conversations. Peter Wingfield (Methos), Elizabeth Gracen (Amanda), and Jim Byrnes (Joe) reprising their roles. It takes place 10 years after the series between the fourth and fifth movies. Filming took place at Wingfield's beach home with the actors volunteering in their roles. The plot involved the characters discussing Methos' plans to get married and settle down with a mortal woman and her son.

  5. I tried some of the Belsavis dailies the other week but had an annoying glitch kept cropping up. Actually something I've noticed outside of Belsavis as well, when you have to pick up mission loot dropped by enemies for your mission to progress, half the time it seems to pick up the loot but not update the quest. Then enemies keep dropping it, but telling you that you can't pick it up because you already have x amount of unique item. Sometimes logging out, then back in will cause the quest to update, but half the time it requires several mission resets before it'll work properly.
  6. So Limitless did a twist of a Ferris Bueller episode... Kind of amusing.

  8. Control the high ground? If you've got enough ships scattered around you can keep a sensor watch on a planet for ships launching from a planet, and combine fire on where they're trying to reach escape velocity and leave the planet's gravity well? Or at least have time enough to flood their likely paths with fighters and general anti-ship weapons. And it's the Star Wars universe, so they could have a few Mass Generators in orbit to cause issues on people getting into hyperspace.. o O (Just playing devil's advocate)

  13. Okay, I didn't do the live action, but I spent some time with the pen and paper and still have my shelves high of assorted WoD stuff.... but the characters and the moods (apart from the combat heavy) seemed to be the ambience our old GM's pushed. Loss, politics, clinging to humanity while struggling to succeed as predators, manipulations, secrets... To be fair, Vampire the Dark Ages was much more likely to slide into the bloody combat than VtM and Redemption did start off there, so maybe that colours my perception of it. Of course, it has been a bloody long time since I sat down and played Redemption.
  14. Well Redemption was a bit of an odd bird. Yes it was a whole slew of dungeon crawls with what was an obscene amount of combat (for a VtM setting), but to be fair that was the generic rpg style of games at that time. But the fluff, the story, and most of the characters around those dungeon crawls were fairly pitch perfect for VtM as I recall...
  15. Ash vs Evil Dead. Groovy. Be interesting to see how this plays out on an episode basis.
  16. Taking a panorama as you roll down a hill?
