And further on the Schooling system and Education front... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L0jQz6jqQS0- Attacks in Paris
I am very tempted to link in John Oliver's response to the Paris attacks and that wonderful speech he gives... But it's so NSFW that it would probably break forum guidelines. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=glxh9ZgP7kc So instead you can all follow that outside the forum if you want it.- Attacks in Paris

- What you did today
Having all the fun of plowing through job searches and finding that apparently no-one has entry level position these days. Everything seems to require some form of "5-6 years of experience in the business and / or with x system / process." That and getting advice in the form of "No, you don't want to be honest in CV's and job applications, you have to put spin on everything and make it all positive and have nothing that could potentially have negative connotations."- The Funny Things Thread

While I'm tempted to throw this in the funny things thread, the question of art vs porn and censorship on tv seems more suitable here... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YkJS0IzZREk- Fallout 4 is coming soon.. is there a new OB Fallout Scheduled?
That works with some. If the buildings that are part of a settlement already had a dead body in there (that you didn't kill) they turn up again next time you wander back. In fact, I've had a couple of bodies like that that I'm not allowed to move because they're "too heavy to move". Still, it's a pain to have to spend 5 minutes dragging bodies around slowly to get rid of them. it would be so much easier with a "scrap" feature for corpses in that settlement builder.- The Funny Things Thread

On the other hand, doing some of those basic building and crafting stuff for each settlement you do a quest for will end up jumping you through a few levels and thus letting you snag some of those perks... Not that there isn't a whole heap of stuff that will provide you with xp. Funny thing, you can build and place signs on top of each other. So you could stand in the same spot and slap 100 "female toilet" signs on the exact same spot, and level up once or twice, before taking a minute to scrap them all once again. #thingsyouprobablyshouldn'tdoforfun. But the crafting in terms of modding weapons and armour is probably something that while you don't explicitly have to do, is going to be a lot of help by making sure things are working the best for you.- Movies you've seen recently

Spectre. It has its ups and downs. It feels like they've gone through a check list of what makes a Bond film but it doesn't quite capture the soul of it. There's a lot of fun moments, but something doesn't click for the whole. It's the little things, like they didn't need to have multiple car chase scenes that all seem to run on longer than needed. I liked Christopher Waltz for the way he played Blofeld, but, and yes there's a but here, I did not like how the story now insists on having this deeply personal connection with Bond. What's wrong with having one villain who is just a megalomanic genius engineer/economist/political scientist, building up a secret, criminal organisation and trying to achieve world domination levels of influence and power? But no, there has to be a tragic back story that propelled him on his way because of his childhood with Bond. Then every tragedy in all previous films gets tied in. That's just... Not Blofeld. As a capping stone on the Craid Bond, it works. It's kind of a counterpoint to Casino Royale and works for that. Eh, I would say your milage may vary depending on your preferences.- Fallout 4 is coming soon.. is there a new OB Fallout Scheduled?
Do kind of wish you could "scrap" dead bodies in and around buildings where you have settlements. Otherwise it's a rather annoying drag them out and away or they get left there regardless of how many people settle in the area. "I've repaired this building and put in roof and power and food and a bed that's right next to a rotting ghoul's corpse....." Hm, and interesting, a handful of quests that I got first time around from Abernathy's Farm the first time I played haven't triggered in the second start up... I wonder what the key bit to triggering them is.- The Funny Things Thread

I fully expect him to have embraced evil and I'll be conflicted since he's working with the people who killed his mom. For 5 seconds before I shoot the brat. Are you people just guessing or did you guys look it up? That's pretty much a guess based on the usual expectation of Bethesda writing following the standard obvious clichés.- The Funny Things Thread

Well, apparently they do provide specific perks once the disposition is a certain point, and some do have unique quests that will trigger. At least I've had one from Curie after she'd had a bunch of "likes" to my actions, so I kind of imagine there must be other companions with similar.- Fallout 4 is coming soon.. is there a new OB Fallout Scheduled?
Hm, I'm actually considering re-starting over again, to try not exploring quite so much before I hit Diamond City.... It seems in the space of a very short amount of time you end up with a whole bunch of companions that all need to follow you and get their opinion of you boosted by how you handle various quests and deal with people you meet. - The Weird, Random, and Interesting things that Fit Nowhere Else Thread
