Caught up on the episodes of The Librarians that's been stuck on my backlist to watch. It's still definitely cheesy fun.

All you can do is get.. what.. Shielded Vault Suit if you have high enough armorer / science combo I believe. And that's still only about 1/3rd or 1/4th as good as Ballistick weave modded clothing (well, if you're talking the top of the line ballistic weave).

I don't think so. To be fair, if you want to use the console you can check on the companions affection level. you use that "prid <companion id>" then the "getav CA_Affinity" and it'll show you the hard cold number of their affection for you.

Absolutely Anything. It's.. a bit of an odd beast of a film actually. It's not bad, it has some amusing moments. Simon Pegg as the teacher who gets handed absolute reality altering power by a group of aliens deciding the fate of the Earth. Said council being voiced by the surviving Monty Python cast. I think the main issue is the cast - you have a some very good people, with hardly anything to do. Kate Beckinsale as the girl next door, Eddie Izzard as the dictatorial Head Teacher, even Robin Williams doing the voice of the dog (once it gets given speech). With that sort of backing you expect a whole lot more because of them and it just fails to reach a level it should. So the rather average nature of it all seems to make it seem worse than it actually is.

I have to admit I got caught up in the initial burst of exploring the world, but I've hit this point where I've probably discovered about 70%+ of the various locations and am finding it quite hard to start the game up to play the quests and run through the storyline. And when I do manage to get the burst of enthusiasm to start playing it again, I find I only manage to play for half an hour to an hour or so. Not the get buried in it and slam through large chunks in any one session type of play.

On the purely random, and highly unlikely chance that folks lurking around here haven't got or played it before.. Jade Empire is free on Origin at the moment.

That, and the damn radiant quests that keep turning places you've cleared into yet another pack of raiders. I think I've got the Corvega Factory cleared about 7 times now. And then oh look, in the space of two days, another raider group have apparently moved in, set up shop and started threatening settlements which send me right back there.

Out of curiosity I watched an episode of Into the Badlands. One more slightly cheesy post-apocalyptic setting, with what turns out to be some quite snerkworthy fight sequences. Then there are jarring things, like you do the memory retrieval with Doctor Amari, and find out about the Glowing Sea quest.. Then later you're talking to the Brotherhood of Steel and they know everything about it without you telling them, and its not like Danse was a companion at the time either. So wow, apparently the Elder is omniscient and has all these details regardless.
