  3. Hm, I don't really see happiness drop that much. It keeps hovering between 65-83. Of course, when I have to "build" a settlement, I slap down the beds and then throw up a few paintings, chairs, and a couple of flags on the exterior of the building. From what I gather as long as you put a few of those "luxuries" up, that keeps them all satisfied. Edit: I have to admit, having the combo perks of Rifleman, Stealth, Ninja and Mr Sandman maxed, while using a Legendary "Mighty" Gauss Rifle with Silencer... Really lets you one shot kill pretty much everything you encounter with a stealth headshot..
  4. Aging. It happens. Maturity, maybe not so much.
  5. It might be amusing..but damn, this should be done regardless..
  6. Strong tended to like whenever I was helping settlements on Minutemen missions. McCready has his own quest chain, or well, a couple of linked quests that crop up as your relationship keeps going buddy-buddy. Piper's quest is that thing when you first meet her, so it feels odd to count it as a companion quest.

  9. Yes. and when you get told that the same settlement is being threatened by raiders at a location you've already cleared 7 or 8 times (about half of them for the same damn settlement).
  10. Yes, it gets a bit annoying that a settlement with a Defense score of 140+ and a population of 14-20 keeps having to call you and only you to defend them. Because if you aren't there they'll lose. And then you have to go around repairing everything. However, as long as you just happen to be at the location, without taking a single shot at the enemy yourself, the defences will slaughter whoever is attacking.
  11. Minutemen - We be good folks who help other folks, so they in turn help folks around them. Railroad - We are super-secret types railing against bigotry and synth-slavery. Brotherhood of Steel - We are jerky tech power-mongers with righteousness on our side. Institute - We are brainiac science types who know best. I think that covers the basics?
  12. It's interesting how in some ways they've introduced a slightly comic element to it compared to the film. Of course the original book had a complete downer of an ending. Actually, the trick that I quite like is how they have one shade for when he's not on the drug, but that slightly brighter, golden hue to things when he's on the drug.
  13. Doctor Who. Surprisingly poignant and bittersweet.
  14. The one that bugs me is getting the "this settlement is being attacked" message, you go to that settlement and half the time nothing seems to actually be attacking it. Or maybe 5 synths are. They get killed. You wander around for 5 minutes and nothing else happens. You fast travel away, and then promptly get a "you failed to defend settlement" message.
  15. The Register - SysAdmins unplanned revenge after sudden sacking
