Which line in the ini? I'm really enjoying the game btw, hopefully I won't end up overpowered as most of the fun comes from surviving.

Journalism and sexism in the games industry

He frames the events in such a manner that coupled with the contagious nature of fun video games draws the audience whom are experiencing the game through him vicariously. Reality TV is popular because people enjoy both the catharsis of watching others whom they can look down on and the curiosity of seeing the lives of other people in a society that has degraded social interactions. Michael Bay is popular because moviegoers want an experience that they couldn't get on their small TVs at home, he makes movies that are like the stories of park rides. Just enough to contextualize the ride. -
Could Hollywood please wait until i'm dead or with Alzheimer before they start ruining the franchises I grew up with?

Every time I hear they are remaking Ben Hur I just cringe. You know they are going to screw that up. Nothing is sacred in Hollywood...or legal.

This is really good news as it means that EA and therefore Bioware will continue to be committed to the DA franchise Any development of the fantasy RPG genre I fervently support The all inclusive pansexual fantasy world? Seriously though, good for them.

I like Ridley Scott for his photography and his excellent used of lighting and filters, even without knowing he is the director I can usually tell as it is very distinctive.

snip Joking, I'll edit it so the thousands of 12 year olds that patrol this forum don't learn naughty words they hear everyday on the schoolbus from the mouths of the 14-year-olds. While rebellion might seem appealing to your inflammatory sensibilities, the forums have rules against what they consider objectionable content. If anyone dislikes said ruling there are a lot of different forums on the internet that have no such rules and if they feel so strongly about it they can go there. As to the claim that moralist are childish; it is children and the vulgar that tend to speak with profanity and not just with the occasional word but as part of their everyday vocabulary. If you can't express yourself with cursing that fault lies not with others but within yourself. -

I still think that you could replace him with a coked up toddler and you still get something good, I mean if you have to polish his ideas to the point that they become someone else's you kind of don't need him. I will remind you of two names: Darth Icky and Darth Insanius (the latter one is probably what people call George behind his back)

I'm going to call bull on that, art might be loosely interpreted but it can still be objectively measured. This whole post modernist let's **** in a can and call art thing is borne out of subjective reasoning that equates insanity with reason, is the result of critics' takeover where art is just a fad and they set the trend. There are common elements among art that have been agreed upon before subjectivity got into the scene, now they don't sell works of art they sell ideas of art. It is the concept that seems to be important because its the concept that requires the critic, art based on aesthetic is meant to be enjoyed by all and needs no interpreter. -

True, but D students in my 10th grade English class were better writers than games bloggers. And N. Either that's hyperbole or you went to a gifted school. -

Once you get to fight different types of enemies you're going to have to diversify, particularly when there are enemies which block your skills. I'm skeptical. I'm not sure how enemies could block my skills. I already focus Styx on taking out defenses. On the upside, I'm started tossing Styx and that's straight up awesome. Nearly kills everyone it hits. It has a drawback, Styx has low health and defense so putting him in the middle of battle might not be the best. But I know that lancers can effectively tank your Orc and a lot of abilities are useless against them unless they are hit with a status effect, usually one generated by an attack from Styx. Knowing how to combo skills is a survival must later in the game..oh and good luck against the 3 berserkers.

It's not. Throwing their own absurdity in their faces is not only funny, but exceedingly appropriate and very much called for, in my opinion. Stop trivializing my struggle as octokatkin ****lord. It was funny the first time, now its just getting confusing. -

did you watch the first video in my post? unlike the one that seems to be circulating the media it doesn't pan the camera to the left so as to obscure the fact that when the victim was coming out of the car his hands were visible and it shows that the officer began shooting unprovoked. -

So the cop just happened to open the door and stand back because he wanted the victim to stay in? You can clearly see on the video that the cop is struggling to open the car door and that as soon as the does he stands back and opens fire on a man that was standing with his hands up. The victim made no aggressive moves or sudden, he didn't come close to the officer that had jumped back. You can see that his arms are up when he comes out of the car. Here is a better version of the video: http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=0cb_1421865901 Edit: This a different video just to prove how making officers carry cameras on their uniform may actually help with situations like these where they have to shoot someone. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xfTd0PYHKNo Least that could come out of these police shootings is a federal law mandating that officers carry cameras on their person while on duty. -

So if you're travelling with a lady friend and the cops decide to take her and you suspect less than noble intentions as they have been very forward with their actions you would wait until the courts decide after the event that the cops were committing crimes. It may not surprise you but there have been cases of cops committing rape and attempted rape. Or when even if you comply the cops still decides to take out his/her anger out on you or to try to goad you into resisting arrest. Now, yes it might be stupid to resist arrest or antagonize cops but the fact is that courts do nothing when it comes to cop crimes. Really, they refuse to prosecute policemen that have been clearly involved in crimes. Or to do something when their entire department stands behind those crimes. So yeah, I might have to put with it if a cop gets the bright idea that he doesn't like my manners and punches me but at this point the cops seem to be so out of control, the system seems to be doing nothing and whenever there's a cop killer lone wolf type part of me understands why they're doing it. I shouldn't be rooting for criminals just because the system offers no alternative or had been set against citizens. -

So BlackLivesMatter should be WhitePeopleareRacist instead? Either you care that cops are killing people; black people in particular, because otherwise if you're just bothered when its a white guy then you're a racist. -

The Georgina Young one was much more effective criticism. The first one just came off like all the bad anti gg articles. I would think a harassment support network would be something someone who is harassed goes to, rather than something that would reach out to the harassed, so his points fell flat to me. Well, apparently there is a vetting process where they determine if you're the right kind of victim for their company (whatever happened to listen and believe and not victim blaming?). Also they apparently reach out to victims that they feel would make a good fit for their company. Seriously though, why would a help group need to vet people before they help them? I seriously expect this thing to become "Victim.Inc".
