  1. Fallout: New Vegas was easily my game of the year 2010. And I've played Red Dead Redemption (up until Mexico where it got boring and I stopped). I have not yet played Mass Effect 2, mainly because I can't find the will to start Mass Effect (which I actually own). Just Cause 2 was probably the game that was the most fun for me this year, but it suffers from being so short. Sure, there are lots of side missions to do, but the actual main story is only like.. eight missions long. I wish Avalanche would sell their amazing technology to other companies.. like Obsidian. An RPG with that technology.. wow.
  2. Just release it for the PC already.
  3. Yeah. And it's only honest if it's negative whiny BS, of course. I mean, woe those who actually enjoy the Elder Scrolls series. Bunch of liars, all of them!
  4. Yes. If you complete Fallout in less than one hour, you've definitely wasted both that time and that game. There's a guy who can complete Demon's Souls in 54 minutes.. I would argue that's a waste too, if I didn't realize how much he must have practised to be that good. http://kotaku.com/5666793/how-to-beat-demo...n-under-an-hour
  5. Sony still believes there's a place for hardcore game players in the handheld market, thus the PSP2. By hardcore, they're referring to the type of player who wants to play 25 hour Zelda's or 100+ hour Monster Hunter type of games. Just look at the type of games that are popular on the Android/iOS platforms: throw angry birds at objects and toss crumpled paper in waste baskets.. Sure, they only cost like $1, they're still overpriced. I've heard rumours of the PSP2 being powerful enough to be able to use at home too. That way you could play some game on the commute to work, and when you get home you connect it to your TV and continue playing on there. If that is true, then I am definitely interested.
  6. Wow, excellent find! Wasteland just happens to be my favourite game of all time
  7. I also spent an obscene amount of time in Deus Ex. It is a naturally very long game, but I spent more time than I needed in it just because I enjoyed the world so much.
  8. Meanwhile, on the other side of the world, a Chinese man is swimming in American dollars.

So the Rangers had scoring problems? Glad we could help!
  10. A hamburger with fries in 2000 = 49 SEK. In 2011 = 69 SEK, A pair of jeans (Levi's 501) in 2000 = 499 SEK. In 2011 = 799 SEK. A computer game in 2000 = 149 SEK, In 2011 = 599 SEK. You figure out if prices of games have increased or not.
  11. It's funny because I remember buying my Commodore 64 games for 49 to 149 SEK. Now they are 349 to 599 SEK. Everyone says that game prices have not increased, but it is just not true. It's a dumb myth, probably started by greedy publishers. Prices have increased by a factor of five during my gaming history.
  12. I've only played Two Worlds 2 from those mentioned.. I'VE LOST MY GERMAN PASSION
  13. Shut up, you're ruined now. RUINED
  14. OK, who the hell taught the only remaining sane moderator this acronym?! Thank for ruining the forum for the rest of us, you jerk.
  15. Oohh oohh, can I send a braggy picture of the girl I spent New year's Eve with?? What?! OK, nevermind then
  16. I am pretty sure noone is forcing you to play this. Go away, you negative Nancy!
  17. I just downloaded Alpha Protocol from Steam. Two nights ago I was thinking to myself, "Hmm, wonder if I should try a new game today.. Oh, I bought Alpha Protocol, that would be fun to play tonight!". Right. Two nights later, the 12 GB bastard finally landed on my hard drive. Oh well, it is here now, I'll check it out later tonight.

  19. Best. News. EVER. http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2011-01-...ing-towards-rpg
  20. Crap to you, interesting to me. But feel free to move on to another forum for a game more suited to your tastes.
  21. If only the crowd would have had more guns, they could have defended themselves. I say give every nine year old their own handgun! It's constitutional after all.
  22. Are you fapping right now?
  23. I also think the world design was better in Fallout 3. The world felt more thought out and more consistent than in Fallout: New Vegas. Fallout 3's world felt like a big picture with little pieces of ideas in it, while Fallout: New Vegas felt like a very crowded mosaic of ideas but no big picture tying it all together. I vastly prefer to play New Vegas, but I could still tell that one company has been making open world type of games since the nineties and one has not.
  24. Told you. Next time you do it MY way.
