This is what I'm waiting for in Path of Exile: It's supposed to arrive on Monday. We'll see. Looks very good.

14 million dollars per year the first 4 years. Ok, I think he's good, but.. uh..

It's actually one of the most difficult FPS series I have ever played! There was a night battle in a hospital in the rain in Call of Pripyat.. zero visibility, severely outnumbered, low on ammunition and health and a maze of a building to navigate. I have no idea how I ever got through that, but maybe this is the reason why it's also my favourite FPS series ever. Guess if I am disappointed there will be no Stalker 2.

I love your creativity.

It's too bad you can't see my knee-high high-heeled black leather boots. Oh well.

Bah. You guys suck at designing characters. This is how you do it.

It's so strange. There's something about Morrowind's graphics that just rubs me the wrong way. I can't for the life of me find it beautiful or even slightly aesthetically pleasing. Even with god rays.

I joined the closed beta about maybe one year ago (not sure) and played a ranger up until level 60. Then they wiped everything, I deleted my char and took a few months long break. Then I restarted a marauder and he is now level 70 and I am on another break as there will be another wipe once open beta starts. Before that they will release something called maps that I will check out. It's an original take on the end game where maps (as in areas you play in) are treated as items. You can find ordinary maps that when used opens a portal to a normal area. Then you can find rare maps that will range from pure treasure rooms to boss monsters, depending on how lucky you are. Not only that, the maps will have different modifiers. Some modifiers will help all the enemies in the area (thus making them tougher, but give you better rewards) and some will help you and your party. It sounds very interesting, I will definitely check it out when it is released.

I'm fascinated by people who write in all caps. How do their little brains work? Do they accidentally press the capslock key at the beginning of the post and then fail to notice the capitals flooding the screen? Is it some sort of overcompensation for having a small ****? Maybe they think they will look powerful and manly by never having those round little characters in their posts? Perhaps someone else using the computer before them pressed the capslock key and they never figured out how to unpress it? Or perhaps it was a blind person using a voice recognition program from the eighties to write out what he/she was yelling at it (would also explain the complete lack of periods and commas)? It is very fascinating.

Oh hmm. Korean girls are not for me.

The NHL saw record revenues last year, yet the NHL owners propose the players take a cut from 57% to 46% of all revenues (if I remember the numbers correctly)? I would love to hear the reasoning behind that. The players ARE the NHL.

What?! I love Ultima 9!

Pics or it didn't happen.

Help, there is almost nothing I want! What is wrong with me? Was thinking about getting Skyrim for 25 Euro, but.. I still think it's too expensive! Maybe I am not a gamer anymore.
-
I suppose Charlize Theron was too expensive for Cage? What's wrong with Ellen Page?

Started playing LA Noire yesterday. I've read a lot of bad things about this game, but so far it kind of rocks. I've only made it a few cases into traffic, but it's been a lot of fun so far. More difficult than I had imagined! Finding all the clues and trying to figure out if the person you're talking to is lying or not is interesting. Will play more later today. Maybe then the flaws will come out in the open.

I was just reading about Ouya and was hoping to see Obsidian being mentioned as one of the companies backing it. But no.. No Kickstarter projects, no Ouya projects (yet) and only one currently revealed game project they're working on. Obsidian really needs to show themselves more. Feargus, get to work!

Yesterday I decided to go to the beach with my cousin. We played a little beach volleyball, grilled a few sausages and then decided to take a swim. We walked out onto the pier and I managed to ignore maybe ten little yellow signs. I walk faster than my cousin so at the end of the pier I turn around and notice two hot women looking at us. Naturally, I can't just jump into the water like a big sack of potatoes with two hotties watching, so I decide to do a backflip. I turn my back to the water, manage to push off well, feel myself flying through the air in a perfect arc and I hit the water like a sexy Swedish dolphin of love. 10 inches later I touch the bottom. First with my hands, then with my head, then with my neck and then the rest follows on top of that. Mother****er, that hurt. Getting your entire body weight on top of your neck is a bad feeling. I managed to slow the dive with my hands, but my right hand ended up beneath my head and was subsequently crushed and is all blue and worthless. My head has a big bump on the forehead and my neck feels like someone bitchslapped me with a shovel. The two hotties disappeared before the daze disappeared. I'm not sure they were too impressed with my performance. The ten little yellow signs I blissfully ignored on my way out on the pier all said the same thing: "Shallow water, don't dive!". I don't read manuals either. The sausages were tasty though.

Tesla could send energy 26 miles and make earthquakes and lightning balls and split the earth in half, but uh.. he had all these schemes in his head so we can't prove or replicate any of this. But wasn't he cool?! Sure.

Uh.. feel free to sell it to me, time-travelling Finn.

And as usual nothing of note is happening in Leafs land..

This verdict means you actually own the software that you buy. It means you own your OS and can resell it later, for example. Only on the internet can you find someone who thinks this is a bad thing.
