  1. You haven't? I got a review copy of the expansion to Everquest 2 in the mail today, and it's on 2 DVD's. Everquest 2 itself was on 2 or 3 DVD's (can't remember). I've gotten a few PS2 games on several DVD's too. I think Champions of Norrath was one of them, but I am not sure. It's not very uncommon.
  2. Yeah, actual quotes from a respected news agency is apparently not enough to convince someone with half their face up between Dubya's buttocks. Noone is wondering why the world is going to hell. It's obviously because there are some people who can't see the faults in their leader until it's too late, be it an american or anyone else.
  3. Yeah, I just read that the puck broke a bone in his face, right under his eye. Not good. Not good at all. This will ruin a lot of the matches for me. Let's hope Lindros, Allison and (despite being a traitor) Forsberg stays healthy at least.
  4. Yeah, cool and all, but.. We all know what's going to happen: You'll get a chance to play it, come to the board within 5 minutes, saying stuff like "it blows, I uninstalled it within 5 minutes, it has nothing against Ps:T" and so on and so forth. Why even bother?
  5. And still no real news about Sundin's eye. At least you guys didn't have to go to bed worried! I never care for the results of the games on opening night, I just want to sit back and enjoy the hockey and try to recognize the new talent and which players that are playing well for their teams. Ovechkin impressed me a lot. Again.
  6. CRAP.
  7. Haha, Lindros didn't have a single point in the pre-season! He sure picks his moments
  8. I read this about the human pitbull named Ovechkin: "The No. 1 overall pick in the 2004 draft wasted no time making his presence known. On his first shift, 40 seconds into the game, the 20-year-old Russian sideswiped Radoslav Suchy into the boards behind the Columbus net with such force that a beam along the boards fell to the ice. The game was delayed for a couple of minutes while the beam was replaced." http://sports.espn.go.com/nhl/recap?gameId=251005023 I just wish he played for the Leafs instead.
  9. It was only an animated .gif of a girl flashing her boobs to the cam when her father walked in on her. I thought it was funny. The moderators thought it was so bad they removed the entire thread.
  10. I think it was the "fap" word that got my wonderful thread about computer graphics and girls closed..
  11. And stop shooting Mats Sundin in the head
  12. And Ovechkin has scored two now.. Impressive.
  13. Forsberg has two assists in his first game with the Flyers. Decent start for him.
  14. GO LEAFS!! )
  15. And Ovechkin scores his first goal in his first NHL game! No surprise there. I strongly believe Ovechkin takes the rookie award this year, despite having to contend against Crosby.
  16. I'm stuck with listening to crappy internet radio so SHUT UP!!
  17. J.P. Dumont of the Buffalo Sabres scored the first goal in the new NHL, 3.11 into the first period against NY Islanders! Woo! Let's see more goals!! And soon the Leafs will get their collective butts handed to them by Heatley & Hasek..
  18. Everytime someone asks me for advice on laptops I recommend Acer to them. So far noone has been disappointed. They're really good value for your money.
  19. It's been revealed: the Ati Radeon X1800 series. As usual it's crap in Doom 3 and great in Half-Life 2. http://hardware.gamespot.com/Story-ST-23717-2610-x-x-x The tests were run on beta drivers. It will be fun to see just how "pathetic" Crossfire is when applied to this new generation of GPU's.
  20. Just look at Quake 4? I'm sorry, I don't have access to your imaginary world or your time machine so I can't compare yet. So far, the only thing we've seen of the Doom 3 engine is.. Doom 3. You can look at all the previews in the world, but you still have nothing to back up your statements with. And you have not been able to tell anyone what's so phenomenal about the Doom 3 engine either. Since you used the term phenomenal, I'm assuming it does something that the other engines don't, and exceptionally well nonetheless. Now, what is it? You're living proof that hype really works. Edit: Formatted the text to look better.
  21. http://www.3dm3.com/competition/cggirls/ A beauty competition between a bundle of computer generated girls! Admire those pixels, boys.
  22. http://www.wimp.com/hockey/ Aah, the joys of hockey.. )
  23. Taste defies logic.
  24. I don't buy Bioware games. But I have high hopes for Dragon Age. All they have to do is to stop treating their audience like idiots by dumbing down the games more and more for every iteration. Oh, and they could also try and stray from the path of "the chosen one" when writing the story and it'd be even better. I really did like KotOR though.
  25. So what's so phenomenal about the Doom 3 engine then? The only thing that stood out in Doom 3 were the shadows. And they weren't impressive enough to compensate for the huge system demands. Besides, shadows had already been done to the same degree in Deus Ex: Invisible War and Thief 3. Just compare the Doom 3 engine to Source (less demanding, fantastic lip sync technology etc.), the Crytek engine (awesome view distance, gigantic maps) or Unreal 3 (streaming maps, cutting edge technology) and it becomes even harder to see what's so phenomenal about it. Maybe you have some info about it that I am unaware of?
