I finished Black last night. I knew it was supposed to be short, but it still shocked me when it ended. It was so abrupt! The final confrontation.. I didn't even know I was fighting it until the game suddenly just ended after I won a particularly tough battle! Now I'll have to reassess the final score. One of the worst endings I have seen in a looong time. I'll be playing Rainbox Six: Lockdown or The Regiment next, since those two arrived in my mail just now.

You eventually ran out of enemies and ammo. Not much fun left if all you could do was swim around in the water or fall down cliffs in the jungle. There was an end sequence for both demos, so you could end it after a few hours of play if you wanted to.

Far Cry. It had two demos and both were looong. You could explore and play with them as long as you wanted.

I'm not so sure either Jagr or Lundkvist will win the gold. The russians have been looking exceptionally strong this year (Ovechkin is unstoppable, but Malkin received a suspension and won't play in the semi's). Finland are undefeated in the tournament so far. If I had to rank them: 1. Finland & Russia (impossible to tell who's stronger) 3. Sweden 4. The Czech's

Oh yeah, speaking about not being able to save. You can't save in Black either! It was easy the first four levels or so, but now, when there are snipers and RPG guys everywhere, it's actually started becoming a challenge. Maybe I won't make it within twen hours after all! I am on level seven now. I love that you have checkpoints within the level, but the game autosaves ONLY between levels. If you stop playing in the middle of a level (the levels are huuuge, except for the first one) and you've passed two checkpoints, you have to start over at the beginning of the level the next time you start up the game again. Makes it more of a challenge, and I have to admit, I am one of those who shoots one shot and if it doesn't hit the right target, I immediately quickload No wonder I suck at Battlefield 2 now that I think about it..

One noteworthy thing about Black: I'm on level six and supposedly the game only contains eight levels all in all. It has taken me somewhere around six to seven hours to reach where I am now, so my estimate is that the game will be over within ten hours. It's been one hell of a ride so far though. BOOM!!!

Black for Playstation 2, but it seems I'm getting the Xbox version too for some reason (I don't own an Xbox).

Haha, I've never seen Canada show so much respect for one single player before, but it really looks like Quinn is playing two players on Ovechkin every time he hits the ice! Good game so far, although the american referee has taken a few too many penalties. Let them play.

I just think USA lacks the top talents this year. The old ones are gone and the new talent hasn't had time to mature into established stars yet. Team USA will be much better next time in Vancouver. But then again.. most teams lose to a team that can dress Ovechkin, Kovalchuk, Kovalev, Malkin (who's been outstanding.. Penguins are lucky) and so on. Nabokov looks solid in net too. The Russians will be fun to watch.

I recently reviewed Zathura on the Playstation 2. That game kept crashing on me. Now tell me how to patch it to make it stop!
