  1. That's my point: you wouldn't even know it was a DRM unless you tampered with it. You type in some serial number ONCE (at installation) and then it's gone. Poof. You won't see it again unless you want to. And this "DRM is crashing my stuff" is getting old. Feel free to provide proof that GfWL crashes your applications. Until then you're just full of it. I use mods. I own Fallout 3. Point me to the ones that won't work with GfWL because I've had no problems so far. I want to try them.

On the one hand, I want him to abide under the same laws as everyone else. On the other hand, the woman who was raped has said she wants him pardoned. In this case, I'd listen to the woman.
  3. ^The girl with the abs I was mentioning before (although they're not really showing on this picture). Maria is right, that is hot!
  4. Really... try giving the game to one of your friends (siblings, cousins, kids, wife, whatever) to play it or re-selling it and let me know how that works out for you. So the problem arises when you're trying to give your game away? Gee, that happens every day. Damn that GfWL for ruining my generous soul! I wonder if it's GfWL that's at fault here.
  5. I gave it a .wps extension, but stupid Openoffice still wouldn't recognize it! Grr.
  6. That's because you buy all your games, you dirty non-pirate.
  7. This is a problem that plagues a LOT of games. I am replaying GTA4 right now, and I've been doing the Most Wanted missions from the police computers. The only times I've died and failed one of those missions has been when the enemies have started shooting at me while I am still outside the building they're hiding in and there's been a police walking close to me on the sidewalk outside. As long as the villains are emptying their automatic rifles in my face, the police does nothing. If I respond by firing my pistol, I immediately get a two star wanted rating and the police spawn five police cars, filled with automatic rifle loaded police men, all aiming and shooting at my back. Incredibly annoying.
  8. I've had no bugs, no installation problems and I certainly do not feel my rights being "violated". I have played both online and offline (because I switched ISP's a while ago) and it's been no problem either. Net outages does not equal temporary save loss (all my saves are local). Every patch I've gotten through GfWL has applied itself within one click of the mouse. I bought an expansion and it worked flawlessly (even if the actual game crashes a lot). I don't even have to login, it does that automatically. I actually wouldn't notice it was there unless those two small windows appeared whenever I start a game. Oh, and when I unlock an achievement, of course. I understand why someone like Bukkake has problems, but I don't understand how the experience could differ so for legitimate users.
  9. Where does one rent PC games?
  10. I thought it was excellent. Fantastic soundtrack, memorable characters, really atmospheric setting (especially when it changes from summer to autumn and so on), and a lot less violent than the GTA's. I'm hoping for a Bully 2!
  11. Woohoo, I just finished the phase 2 regime. Although I never figured out how to do the one legged squat, so I improvised with a two legged one instead, but in much higher doses. I think it worked because my thighs are burning. Also, I started without reading the instructions carefully enough, so now I have 53 push ups in two minutes as my best push up count. Getting there. Edit: Took out a Freudian slip.
  12. Eurogamer's take on the delay: http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/alpha-pr...-to-summer-2010 Nothing new, really.

And I know that, despite the stellar play by youngsters St
  14. Really? PhysX is free and it's got Nvidia hardware support. I would not bet on Havok.
  15. Well, since you don't know how the human physique works, let me give you a run down. You can have the world's most muscular body, but if you're fat, you still won't have a six pack. This girl is very petite, but fit (as in almost no excess fat) so you can see her abs. Not "overly muscular" at all. Is it because you're American that this simple concept eludes you?
  16. Another thing: the main story is supposedly around 60 hours.. if you don't do any side quests! I LOVE PIRANHA BYTES! You can shove your 8-10 hour RPG's up your arse. 60-100 hours is where it's at!
  17. You fantasize about the super hot girl with a six pack. Time flies!
  18. First English review of Risen: To me, it sounds fantastic! No hand holding, not even in the beginning! Difficult, brave and different! Excellent! 84/100 is the score.
  19. I tried this today at the gym. Ran 1.5 miles in 10.20 on the treadmill, so yeah. Oh yeah, I went to the gym with a friend so I missed today's regime. But I think I covered most of it anyhow since we were doing a kind of "rehab" run: everything once. I'm exhausted. The prettiest girl I know has a six pack. Now that's motivation for you!
  20. Time for some old school! And this was only the music you listened to while the game itself was loading! There's an awesome theme tune too: Dance of the Knights/Capulets and Montagues
  21. Ok, The Saboteur quickly sailed up my Most Wanted list all of a sudden: I have no idea why
  22. Yeah, I was a bit disappointed with the price they went for with this. The 4870 felt like such a bargain even when it arrived. The 5870.. hrmm, not so much. I guess this is what happens when you have a market leader out.
  23. I loved the soundtrack to Bully: Main Theme
  24. There's only one motto when it comes to video cards: TOO MUCH IS NOT ENOUGH!!
