  1. That's kind of.. humorous to me. The last Nvidia card I bought was a Geforce 7900GS, made by XFX, and it sucked. Since then I've bought only ATI cards, all made by Sapphire, and the 4870 I am currently using (until I get my 5870 grr) was the best purchase I ever made. I will go with Sapphire for my 5870 too, preferably the Vapor-X edition. It rocks.
  2. Yeah, the Patty quest line was awesome.
  3. Risen.
  4. I bought Puzzle Quest from GamersGate. It refused to install when I had downloaded it (which was very fast). Checked the official boards and it turned out that the game they sold me was broken and required me to install some .dll-files in the correct subfolder for it to work. I got it to work but the whole thing felt very unprofessional. Since then they've scrapped their own buggy installer and it's supposedly much better now. But I haven't bought anything else from there since.
  5. I just won a bid on eBay for a Blade of Darkness in good condition in the UK. I got it for
  6. Hush! On this board you're only allowed to spread unsubstantiated rumours about how bad ATI drivers are.
  7. The irony is killing me.
  8. It doesn't work? And it hasn't worked for Sweden for the last 100 years? For knowing so little, you sure do have a lot of opinions.
  9. Norway isn't part of the EU. They've tried using the award to "make friends" before and they'll try it again. Hopefully this scam backfires on them. Again.
  10. Important thing to keep in mind! This award is actually NOT a true Nobel prize*! It's being awarded by Norwegians for crying out loud! Sweden hereby strongly disassociates with this award. (*it is, but it was instated when Norway was still a Swedish slave colony)
  11. How does one derail a thread about what you did today by discussing what you did today?

Gaborik isn't doing so badly either. Great to finally see him let loose on a less defensive team.
  13. I've entered a running competition this Sunday so I went running tonight. I probably won't be doing these exercises until Monday.
  14. It wouldn't have to be that drastic. Just little stuff like shotgun weddings happening somewhere, someone lost their most precious brahmin, someone was born somewhere, maybe tiny commercials for iguana-on-a-stick, how the radiation levels are at certain parts of the wasteland, even weather reports. Just random stuff to make the radio seem less empty and dead and focused on YOU. It would also be very easy to bake in more or less concealed references to the earlier iterations in the game series that way. They wouldn't have to be long either, just snippets. Lots of them. Some randomly selected by the radio code, some triggered along with the players progression through the game.
  15. Or.. you could just type cοck, you know. As in cοcktail. Or cοckpit. Or Hitchcοck.
  16. I haven't gotten it yet, it's sold out for at least a month here in Sweden. But it will render my orcs oh so pretty!
  17. I believe the Hong Kong version is in English. All PS3 games are region free so it should work. I've also read a lot of positive things about this game and I've been trying to force my cousin into buying it, but he's put off by the alleged difficulty. He's a guy that usually likes to play Halo on easy. There's a good thread over on Eurogamer's boards about Demon's Souls: http://www.eurogamer.net/forum_thread_post...hread_id=126214 I'm interested, but I don't own a PS3.
  18. Also, lots more snippets of things happening around the wasteland would be appreciated. At first, in Fallout 3, it was cool hearing whatever you had caused being talked about on the radio. But after a while (and I mean a short while) you had looped through everything Three Dog had to say and the ONLY news he had was whatever you were up to. This didn't exactly help the overall feeling of you being the only active participant in the world that Falout 3 already suffered from. You could even pick up quests by listening carefully to the radio transmissions. Stuff like "huge explosion was reported west of Turmoil Hill yesterday, no reports of any casualties", and when you'd go west of that place, you'd find something had happened and a quest would trigger. Ok, my point is: the radio was a good idea, badly implemented by Bethesda. Let's hope Obsidian expands on it. It has potential to be a great asset to the game.
  19. Yeah, I tried GOG, but they didn't have it. Then I tried eBay.. But that Gamespot thingie sounds better, at least price wise. I'll have to think about this.
  20. All I remember from this game (I don't even know where I played it because I didn't have a PC at the time) was that it was very taxing for your system, it was extremely violent and I could never get a hang of the combat. I wonder if I can pick up a copy of it somewhere..? And I don't mean the Bukkake version, I mean a legit copy.
  21. I am an orc lover and I refuse to help you.
  22. You can eat a dog too. They do it in China.
  23. But how would you find that out? What if they made a 60 hour game, complete with a 50 quest long main story and 100 side quests for you to discover. Then someone decides that the full game is going to sell with the full main quest, but only 80 side quests. The rest of the completed content is going to be sold at a later date to increase profits. Naturally, you as a consumer wouldn't know that the game was "incomplete". Because from your point of view it isn't. It's still a full game, story wise. The only thing that's changed is that it's gotten more expensive and it's been divided into parts. You may not complain about that, but I will. I don't like the way this industry is going in general, but that's another discussion.
  24. Yes, I know of a better shield. Medium spoiler: About the ashbeasts.. I've actually never beaten one Except once. Minor spoiler:
  25. Crysis in 1080p still eats it for breakfast.
