  1. Actually, since the 5X-series of Intel chipsets, you don't have to worry about SLI/Crossfire. If you're going for an i7, you just get an X58-based motherboard and you'll have support for both! I don't know how Intel did it, but they managed to license both solutions in the same chip. I love it. This way you buy the motherboard first and worry abut the brand of GPU later. Edit: Oh, I saw the picture now! That's not a good way to draw a cable. You will never be able to fit a huge GPU in there that way. I would buy a cable extension and pull that power cable behind the motherboard. That way it won't show at all, won't clutter up your motherboard and you'll get marginally better airflow through your system (especially if you hide all your cables in a similar fashion).
  2. Probably. So why don't you?
  3. First of all: ****! I'm looking forward to this and now it seems like it's not coming out in forever again! Second: I assume this delay will mean it'll be Obsidian's most polished and refined title to date. Yay!
  4. I will let someone else handle the Nvidia cards as I'm blinded by the 5870 right now (as a true fanboi), but I will say this: 1000W is for overclockers and enthusiasts. 750W is enough even for a triple SLI setup. Unless you go for three of the very worst Nvidia has to offer, but that would be insanely expensive.
  5. Look forward to Borderlands! I know I am.
  6. The gym I go to has this monthly magazine where this method of eating was recommended. Milk + bananas. It even tastes good!
  7. I love how all of Guard Dog's links are from.. Fox News. It's so clich
  8. Please don't fix your economy. The Swedish Krona is stronger than (almost) ever against the dwindling British pound and I want to go shopping in London before Christmas. Thank you in advance for understanding.
  9. Time to pimp CryEngine 3 yet again! Forget about that Unreal 3! Forget about Onyx! This is where it's at: http://www.eurogamer.net/videos/cryengine-...howcase?size=hd Just do it.
  10. I usually drink milk and eat a banana or two directly after an intense workout. I do this while cooking a real meal. Protein drinks are not really needed for the level of exercise we're on.
  11. Ok, here's how it really works: You sign in once (either offline or online). Done. And this applies to ALL games using GfWL; if you've signed in once, you're signed in to them all. If you really have to use "some dumb sign in procedure" every time you want to play your game, I question your intelligence. YOU have done something wrong. Or maybe I'm just a ****ing genius that can jump from FUEL to Fallout 3 to Red Faction: Guerilla without ever seeing GfWL or its "dumb sign in procedure". Who knows. If it took you ten minutes to update GfWL, are you really blaming the program? If ANYTHING takes ten minutes to update, I'd check out my internet connection and/or my rig. Or are you trying to imply that GfWL is so crappy that it even takes longer than anything else to update? This is getting more ridiculous by the minute. Oh, and you are already in Microsoft's claws. If you want to be a gamer, you have to use their OS. They can do whatever they want to you and you don't have a say. Unless you want to try to game under Linux. Good luck, brave rebel. Say for example you're playing a game and all of a sudden the developers release a mandatory new patch that contains ads. Then you have no choice to stomach all the new crap it adds to the game unless you switch over to a blah blah. See my point? And why are we even discussing things that aren't real? This entire discussion is so dumb. Are you all ****ing pirates or what? If you're a legitimate user, GfWL is no problem. End of. If you've logged in once, you never see it again. EVER! Unless you want to. You're trying to describe this program to me like something that pops up all the time, that needs constant updates (that for some reason are impossible to install), that disturbs you in the middle of gaming, that demands you hand over your human rights and your credit card and control of your computer, that takes over your saves and does whatever it wants with them and whatever else you can come up with. It's like you're out of arguments so you have to start lying to try to convince people it's bad. I'm beginning to think you're all like Bukkake.
  12. Bah. It would have been cooler if he had lobotomised the two persons at the back and connected all their spines together so that the lead person would control all the bodies at once.. Having a crying middle part is very impractical.
  13. Woohoo! I just read that interval training is the best kind of training for when you hit that plateau of not getting any noticeable gains from your ordinary training. I will try this out tonight after work. I will probably puke from exhaustion, but it will be a good kind of puke!
  14. I've only tried the crossbow, but right-clicking zooms in to a over-the-shoulder view complete with crosshairs and everything.

Another loss tonight. Sweet. Only six games, no need to panic. I do miss Sundin though.
  16. Sigh. This is getting old. Again it's a case of "skit bakom tangentbordet" (I'm not translating that). If you can't figure out how to play offline then maybe you need to find a new hobby? It really isn't that difficult. You only need patches and "online saves" (they're really not) if you're going for achievements. AGAIN, it's because cheating renders them pretty useless otherwise, right? You can understand that, right..?
  17. I don't think I've ever seen anyone be as utterly humiliated and proven wrong again and again as Wrath of Dagon.. and he doesn't even comprehend the fact! Hilarious! This thread can never die!
  18. I wouldn't even know what a "bandwidth quota" is. Score.
  19. Well, I finished the game as a bandit and am now replaying it from the side of the Order. Instead of letting Jan take me to the bandit's camp, I let him take me to.. uh.. that little house on the prairie. And from there on I let one of the farmers take me to Harbour Town. I am currently in Harbour Town, solving quests for the Order. Not a gigantic difference from doing the quests for the bandits, but enough to make it interesting. I have yet to be called up to the commander. I think I will go mage this time. I never play as a mage in any game. I will probably suck at it.

Five losses and no wins so far. And Toskala keeps getting started. And the young guns are still in the AHL or something. And we still have almost exactly the same team as last year because our coach is afraid of change (except to add "muscle and grit", which is working oh so well for us). He's not interested in skill, they just have to be big, Canadian and prone to end up in the penalty box. But it's all good, with a little luck we'll get a Tavares or a Hedman this draft.
  21. I thought the trailer looked fantastic (the Sacred Ashes one), it's just too bad that the game in no way resembles what was shown there. Oh, and one of the female characters (the one who turns into a purple spider) resembles a famous porn star! Uh, one of my friends told me that, I wouldn't know.
  22. Just the same leap that makes a programmer a master of arts at the same time, correct?
  23. You actually do believe that, don't you? Yet the only country to ever use a nuclear weapon on another nation is your own.
  24. Well, the race went fine and my goal was to come in under 50 minutes. The preliminary time was.. 49:57. Yay!
