  1. What the hell? It's 45
  2. Hmm, I've been thinking about getting this game, but I hadn't thought about the Steam option. I'm kind of fond of having a box to stuff on my overcrowded shelves.. I will think about it. Co-op sounds like fun.
  3. I'm sorry, but.. do you honestly think anyone gives a **** what you call it? And why do people never tire of the "that's not an RPG!" argument? It got old BEFORE the first few hundred times.
  4. Damn cheap skates! Buy it already!
  5. Uhm.. don't get your hopes up.
  6. Yesterday I finally got the damn game from eBay. Apparently I had used an address that was five years old. I have moved since, but the Swedish Postal thingie found me anyhow. I find that strangely comforting and worrying at the same time. Anyhow, I'll probably try installing it later today (after work.. and gym.. and looking at naked girls on the internet).
  7. I'm the opposite of that. Right now I have two bookmarks on this computer. It's always me going, "I will remember this link in my head!" and being too lazy to bookmark it. Then I forget the link five minutes later and hate myself for not bookmarking it earlier.
  8. "You will need an Ubi.com account and you must live in the U.S. to play the game Update: The promotion is now closed and it is no longer possible to play the game for free. If you are interested in further information on this title, visit the Ubi official website at http://www.ubi.com/" Not anymore. And apparently never outside the US.
  9. So what are we talking about here? A completely broken application that needs ten patches and a lot of computer know-how to even get running? No. It's an application that auto-installs itself and then needs one patch to work properly (and by properly I mean works perfectly until you need to download something bigger than 270 MB or something). ONE PATCH. One that's automatically linked for you. Yes, I had to install the same patch when I bought Operation Anchorage. Download, install, done. Nuisance? Yes. Worth complaining your ass off on the internet for? In Bizarroland, apparently yes. So I assume your router doesn't support Windows XP's standard MTU size, correct? Because that is what GfWL uses. And this is GfWL's fault? Whose fault is it that your floppy disc reader doesn't support CD's then? I may be both delusional and a troll, but at least I can get an almost idiot-proof program to run. Think about that for a second.
  10. Ok, I had never heard of that. Sounds interesting! They compare it to Silent Storm in the description and since that's one of the only two tactical RPG's I've ever liked, it piqued my interest. Someone buy it and review it for us! Oh, and it's made by some Russian company so expect hilariously bad voice overs and dialogues.
  11. Also, I think Stalker is one of those games that look much better in motion than in stills. Like Risen.
  12. Pretty funny play-by-play ovwer at Rock, Paper, Shotgun: http://www.rockpapershotgun.com/tag/the-risen-report/
  13. I tried a new gym on Sunday so I'm counting that as my exercise. Mainly because it's probably 10 kilometres from where I live. Anyhow, I'll try to run today. If my upper body soreness passes somewhat later tonight, I'll do the exercises also.
  14. You need to play the Gothic series then. Not only will all the weird creatures beat you up, you will also have to fight innumerable bugs! JOY!
  15. I don't actually mind this change (mostly because I don't understand what's so bad about it). What I DO mind about is that this will probably chase away the competitive PC online gamers, the sales will be worse and I'll have to listen to Bobby Kotick explain that the PC is dying as a gaming platform because of piracy.
  16. I think they're making a game, not a porno.
  17. I've never been to a LAN-party without Internet access. Have you?

    NHL

Seven games without a win so far. Impressive.
  19. I woke up at 12am today :/
  20. Yes. And notice how easy it is to tell me to **** off and prove you're NOT a pirate? Now apply this simple logic to those who can't prove the same thing. ... The funny thing is, accusing someone of being a pirate is, in this case, the friendly choice. The lesser of two evils. Because the other option is that GfWL may not be 100% idiot proof, but you'd probably have to be one to fail at it.
  21. I only have a level 5 fireball.. But I think it's very useful. For starters, it's unblockable! This means I can go as far away from my enemies as the viewing distance allows and then pepper them with little balls of fire while they're running towards me. Nothing has survived that treatment so far, not even a thunder lizard! I also got my first seal last night so now I can use my runes. Lovely.
  22. Is Guitar Hero one long QTE?
  23. Well, the closest and easiest way of seeing a restriction in the "press" is to type **** or **** or **** on this very board and see what comes up. We have no such restrictions on any media channel in Sweden, for example. USA has lots of those, hypocrites as you are. And of course everything that doesn't comply with your narrowminded view of the world must be lies and propaganda. Oh, and irrelevant too. Just one quick question: have you ever actually been outside the US? And no, Mexico doesn't really count.
  24. Looks like they spent ALL their art resources on making a hot chick in the lead role and forgot to spend any money on the backgrounds..
