I really liked Dragon Age 2, I found it to be the best fantasy rpg since Bg2. The only thing I didn't like was the cave recycling, but I found all the good bits to make up for it. Meanwhile, I thought DAO represents a lot of the bad things in RPGs, namely everything running on for too long and a grindyness and sluggishness in the combat. I love the Mass Effect series and felt the ME3 ending took the proverbial dump in my cereals. (finnish proverb, that is)

I'm pretty sure kickstarter doesn't handle payments, they're done via amazon. I was going through my data there, and I couldn't find my address anywhere. I wonder if I've always just given it straight to the project or something? This is of above average interest to me due to the security concerns related to my current and previous work.

I use pre-popped exclusively, microwave stuff needs to have all sorts of funky stuff in it for the grease to keep... Downside is its cold, but...

I think the people in this forum imagine Bioware fanboys (ie. anyone who hasn't publicly disavowed them) along the same lines as KKK members saw black people in the 1950s. Or, the person you describe, and the aspects of the game you refer to, either don't exist or aren't there in the amounts you imagine them to be. I find it culturally interesting that there is a word for that in Finnish. Anglos, no proper sense of shame.

Checking is not allowed in women's hockey. Only in men's hockey. WTF. I've dated (quite literally) more women's hockey players than I can easily remember, Violence was not a stumbling block. EDIT: why hasn't LoFoby chipped in with a "hail Nurgle"? ... Ice hockey?

Oh yeah, forgot to mention the high point of my day: a corporate law client with a tiny waist and absolutely enormous breasts that she liked to prop on my desc during the meeting. Seriously, I wished I had some way of taking a picture just as a rebuttal of "unrealistic and cartoonish" body types, but apparently a massive rack does fall under client attorney privilege... Hehe, "fall under"...

Yeah, the whole jilted lover syndrome coupled with a few "I lost my virginity to baldur's gate (2) and it's never been special in the same way ever since" guys*. Doesn't mean there's actually anything wrong with the games or the people that make them *Pool of Radiance popped my CRPG cherry. And it's NEVER BEEN THE SAME!!! Happily, I've had time to get used to the idea... 25 years.
