  1. Coke. I've actually lost quite a bit of weight after ditching "light" and going with the sugary stuff. My dentist is going to murder me, though.
  2. I didn't find it particularly veiled or an undertone, tbh. Yeah, please, let's keep all the BSN BS to the BSN. There is nothing wrong with liking the Dragon Age series or Dragon Age 2 in particular. Let's not bring in the attitude that doing so makes you less intelligent. That attitude hasn't been brought here (now), it's been here for a very long time. Since before DA2 was released.
  3. That would be too easy, where's the challenge? I find I'm challenged enough in my professional life to want to keep my domestic one as simple as possible...
  4. This is why you should either live close to your parents or find a domestically inclined girl.
  5. Thanks all. A good party that might have benefited from ending 30 minutes earlier. Only the slightest touch of hangover, should stick to just GTs in the future, too. By the time we got to a place with tattooed girls, I was starting to feel my age and run out of steam. Did walk two if the best looking girls in the bar home, but unfortunately knew them from before
  6. Hence the name. Turned 33. Off to celebrate later today with a random set of friends, most of whom have never met each other and the few that have were in my thesis defence party a bit over a year ago...
  7. Hit one out of the park, but because it was a small appendix in a big case, no-one will ever know.
  8. Frankly, I'd prefer if they were making a semblance of progress with patching bg2, even giving them the allowance of only having two coders on the team and a bunch of rabid android owners screaming for their version. " semblance of progress with patching bg2".. Is BG2 really that buggy? It's always been buggy, which is why I waited a long time before I started with BG1, either (and it works like a charm now).
  9. Sigh. There's a reason all the IPs we see on kickstarter are the ones that were dead for all practical purposes. In spite of having had its halo tarnished a bit, DND is still far from dead. In fact, a DND game showing up on kickstarter would orobably be the most certain way of figuring out that the IP is no longer valued by its owner. I agree, I would pledge unconditionally to another decent D&D game like BG3 I think that the Baldur's Gate IP might of itself be near the value of D&D, and might even exceed it as a computer game license... Something Hasbro/Wizards has been almost completely blind to, even with the slight nod of Murder in Baldur's Gate...
  10. They like Vampire, how smart can they be?

  13. I doubt that, I'm pretty sure the legal in hasbro would be ****ting bricks re IP dilution even at the whisper of crowdfunding.
  14. Soo, I just got my Leisure Suit Larry Reloaded physical rewards... :D
  15. I swear we could find a carbon copy of this discussion somewhere from the time between Dark Queen of Krynn/Unlimited Adventures and Baldur's Gate. D&D CRPGs have been proclaimed dead before, and they've been raised from the dead before, as well. Or, considering RTWP, reincarnated...
  16. Or it's just the fact that the license was first stuck in litigation and then Hasbro regained control of it in the Twilight of 4e... And new games are going to start coming alongside 5e/Next. Considering that NWN was easier to play through than BG I actually believe that. NWN was 3e.
  17. The memes and stuff have been a lot more entertaining than the game was.
  18. I read this post out of context and thought maybe you were sharing your gastric issues. Same here, I was about to go "oh, you too?" Before I noticed...
  19. I think you should totally have us forumites assist you with the case. In the courtroom. I have an ability to read a lot and to say "wub wub wub wub" in an appropriately high pitched voice while running in circles. If you could do it in a deep voice, I could use you as my backup saints row style dubstep gun, if all else fails. Also, just got the papers. Could be worse.
  20. Then try living in a small city and see how that works out... After the prosecutor's been sitting on a case for months, I now have to prepare the defence for the biggest case of my career in two weeks... Hopefully two weeks, since I still don't know with exactly what my client's being charged with
  21. I just canceled my swtor subscription, having logged in once since moving here... last March In my defence, I have a friend who still plays and I've been meaning to do some serious gaming with him. Guess I can do whatever I'll have the time for for free. Otherwise, quiet at the office, everybody else is either in court, sick or semi-retired. :D
  22. Swollen lymph nodes? Maybe you're about to get sick and thats the first sign? Unless I have one on my forehead, that's not it. Everybody's getting sick at the office, so it would be par for the course, though. S'posed to have a big party on Saturday, so getting that ****ed by Disease... yeah, to be expected.
  23. talking about lumps, I seem to have developed some kind of stress rash that displays itself as lumps all over. Or I have bubonic plague.
  24. I'd blame the god damned government that thinks it has more right to your earnings than you do. Hey, as long as they're leaving you over 50 % of their salary (unlike me)
