  1. Perhaps that's why they mistake you for an officer?
  2. http://www.nextag.com/fence-stakes/products-html
  3. Considering the widening gap between DAO DLC and (most) ME2 PRC (the "subcontracted" Arrival didn't exactly blow my socks off, but it was still better than any DAO DLC), I expect there to be none-to-little correlation between DA2 and ME3. More like I expect the ME3 team to show (again) how it should be done. I have 0 interest in Skyrim, no realistic opportunities to run Witcher 2, so it's LA Noire and DX:HR for me, meanwhile.
  4. With the fence-sitting around this game it's like visiting a Vlad ČšepeČ™ fan convention.
  5. Isn't that a lot worse though (see the bolded part) ?Most of the websites only offer same 5-6 questions that every other website also do. And I bet it's a lot more common for users to share the same answer between different sites than it is to share same password. Or do you have a habbit of making up a different name every time you fill in the "What's your mothers maiden name?" ? I actually have a lot of varying questions (and thankfully, I do segregate my e-mails a bit, so this only affects gaming for me), mostly because I always pick the one that can't be found by using google, or in the case of mother's maiden name, in 2 minutes at most public libraries.
  6. I'm tempted to roll out the private/major/general **** joke, here.
  7. And I was just trying to psych myself into the proper Witcher fan mood.
  8. It's just as, if not more so, a symptom of the feeling of impotence. People don't vote, because they don't believe it matters, that either the people who represent their viewpoint stand no chance of getting through, or there is, in fact, no such people to vote for in the first place.
  9. I think that's more "impossible" than "improbable", considering the amount of rehashing they'd have to do. The best we can hope for now is that they (over)compensate in the DLC, which, given ME2, is possible, but, given DAO, unlikely.
  10. Stop confusing DA2 with TW2. Just another sign of how creatively bankrupt Bioware is, they were actually ripping off Witcher 2 months in advance - they didn't even have the decency to wait for it to get released!
  11. I think that was precisely what they were going for.
  12. Yes. If for no other reason, most of them won't understand what happened anyway. And, Bio has indeed specified it will be up when PSN is, not before. Don't get the rest of your post, obviously you need PSN if you have it on PS3, not if you don't. Item details on a gamefaqs thread (apparently, I got my own info elsewhere, and didn't 1:1 compare them): http://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/988967-dragon-age-ii/58933564 As could be guessed, it's pretty powerful stuff, a lot of it improves through levels and some have min level requirements. Expecting new levels at this point is sheer stupidity, if they've actually listened to people instead of continuing on their railroad, we'll be instead be seeing a lot of stuff like this first, while they scramble to 180 deg flip a few dungeons and edit out the doors... Or actually create something new Remember that DAA was the only PRC for DAO that had any wholly new areas.
  13. Possible, but you might notice that 95 % of gameplay videos generally have "framerate issues" due to being played back as a low fps video.
  14. Neither. Well, I'm a lance corporal of the Finnish army reserves, but I wouldn't exactly call myself a veteran. I hear "I was taught to kill by the Finnish army" used to be a good way to get out of bar fights in the UK, but I dunno...
  15. Heartland Payment Systems is about 130 million records. I knew I totally shouldn't have made a blanket statement like that without looking into it. OK, it's the biggest data break THAT AFFECTS ME!
  16. Would you describe a certain 20th century German dictator as "slightly misguided"? (Ah, England. I hope it's just understatement).
  17. There's also another article at Eurogamer, where they are a bit less coy about console versions. Ie. say that they are coming (and after that x360 controller reveal, it's 0 surprise), but not when, how or if somebody's actually already working on it. And now I realise that it would have been less typing, if I'd just bothered to go back and copy the link. Oh, well...
  18. I just checked then and it isn't working for me either. I can access Live just fine on the actual 360 though. Yes, it's rather curious, I was in a redirect loop this morning. Wonder if people overloaded the system, rushing to change their account data from being identical with their PSN stuff. :D Also: http://spong.com/feature/10110384/Opinion-...k-Hack-Analysis An interesting analysis, I'd assumed that since Sony was mentioning the credit card details in the first place that the breach had been at a very high level, but this info would suggest that it's not necessarily the case.
  19. Also, I've been unable to access xbox.com since this morning on two different machines.
  20. So you think that stealing the personal data + credit card info of 77 million people "seems like actual criminality rather than freedom fighting"? 25 years ago they would've made you minister of justice in South Africa. Or, to make myself completely clear, even if credit card info hasn't been compromised, this is the biggest data break in & theft in history.
  21. Eurogamer preview 1) Looks like a lot of people are going to be happy 2) QTEs confirmed
  22. Yeah, they're doing an ok job with it now. But it's not like hackers stealing 77 million user names, passwords, addresses and credit card numbers(possibly) is an everyday occurrence. It's surprisingly common. I've seen three personal information breaches of institutions I used, counting this one, in the past 5 years. One of which was a bank. And another name/password breach occurred within very recent memory with the entire Gawker Media network. Dude, 77 million people.
  23. When will people learn that? Arrival leaked just the same way...
