  1. The "general public" is never happy. Because pretty much only complainers give feedback.
  2. Suspected mexican vomiting sloth on the right... Sighting confirmed! (aww....)
  3. That would be true back in the day when BW romances weren't so forward with their advances, now they probably confess their feelings to you the moment you see them and you have to beat them with a stick. So Jaheira didn't start on hitting you the second you stepped out from Irenicus's dungeon? This is an even stronger sign to me that I'm playing different games from y'all. There really is no way I can oppose a well-structured argument like that (*snicker*). It's sad I have to carry the brand of the "bioware defender" just because I can't swallow all the bull**** the critics are pushing.
  4. As even this thread proves again. Frankly, just another bunch of complaints directed at Bioware I don't understand. I'm not going to play as a gay male (in this game or any probably any other), but for that option to be there is definitely no skin off my back. Is it Bioware are arrogant because they are successful, or they MUST be arrogant because they have been successful? I haven't seen them release anything since DA2, so I'm not sure how yow can already call them out for not learning anything?
  5. Maybe. Or their deal with Sony could prevent them from releasing it for nought. I'd say a lot of PS3ers would whine, as is the tendency of gamers.
  6. Well, it's 7:21AM Bethesda time right now, but Obsidian and Steam are both on the West Coast, where it's only 4:21. I don't know what Steam's general practices are, but it wouldn't surprise me if they only bother to queue up major titles with a lot of pre-orders for a midnight release, while more minor titles like DLC require somebody coming into the office to flip a switch. It'd be nice if I could get the download started before I left for work, but it probably wouldn't save me much time in the long run. Hopefully, I can download and install it while I make dinner tonight. They could easily have released the DLC in Europe by now if they wanted to. I know it's still early in the States but it's past midday in Europe... Yes, and since they are European companies, it would be easier for them too. Owait.
  7. Compulsory Securom scare has also taken place already: http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2011-05-...r-2-drm-concern Now they just need to cut somebody off from the game for mouthing off on their forums and they've caught up to Bio in the bad, as well
  8. And we all know that gay people like pink.
  9. Options in a role playing game?! Go back under your bridge, troll! I hope they take advantage of this to create a more clear friendship path with teammates, getting into multiple "hell hath no fury" situations by just being nice to girls seems too much like real life.
  10. Oh come on, it's like 3 % of the released info, if even that. For some reason gamers (and other people on the boards who don't deserve that moniker) just make a fuss out of it, probably just so that they could complain about it. Out of my ME2 game time, roughly 0,45 % was spent on romances.
  11. Got a good laugh out of the MVP selection, though. Talk about making decisions before the final 21 minutes. Still, an enjoyable match, and I can't help but gloat a bit after the hubris Swedes were showing beforehand. I work a block away from the party, but I think I'll rather go watch it on tv.
  12. Hm and here I thought there weren't going to be any romances as such in ME3, just fallout from romances in the previous two games.. Those articles were from before the game was pushed back 3-6 months. Things are subject to more change than normal...
  13. hnggg There is not a single cape in Mass Effect. That's just because Bio can't code cape physics. There aren't any in DAO-2, either.
  14. The others have an endearing 80s sci-fi movie poster vibe, which is what they might have been going for, considering the fact that the whole game in an homage to those (and which I missed the first time around). The clawplanet one would work better for ME3 than the eventual shepardloo mishmas we are probably going to get.
  15. I think most of them are pretty meh, but the clawplanet one is quite neat. Not to say that the covers selected have been good, the regular me2 cover is absolutely horrible. Happily, the CE is IMO the best one: http://xboxoz360.files.wordpress.com/2010/...ors-edition.jpg TBH, even that x360 version of it is not good, too busy. The PC CE (which is the one I have) is a lot better.
  16. Went to work, wound up crashing on the sofa and sleeping for three hours, completely zoned out. ****ing allergy meds.

:D Nm, missed the version already posted in the other thread. Well, at least anyone who wants to hear the manicness of Finland's favourite sports commentator can get their dose in hte link above...
  18. I played it before widescreen mods etc., while it was 7 years ago, it was rather nasty even back then. IMO hasn't aged as well as some other infinity engine games.
  19. All right, due to hardware issues, I never got to play it for very long (I still have the discs so I might try again), but my impression of the game was and is that it's ugly as ****. See, now you've seen it twice, time to get over the shock. And yes, using the colour palette to qualify it was a bad choice.
  20. It's more art in video games, not video games as art. Which is why ME2 (have you seen some of the concept art for that?!) is on the list, and torment with it's palette of 64 shades of gray isn't.
  21. Not even if she is hot and wielding a flail? No, that's when she turns her back to me.
  22. This. Though there are precedents of regimes finding this binary choice too restricting, such as in the case of Hitler's Commando Order. I doubt that whatever the U.S. do, islamic extremists won't be lacking for recruits for at least another generation or so.
  23. Beach volley teams are a lousy deal, there's only two chicks in them. I've done some legal consulting for a model agency...
  24. I'm doing a PhD equivalent in law. And yeah, I'm in a multinational research project, they pay me a token sum.
