  1. Playing Elex as well, a few hours into it. Still enjoying it, despite the game really not wanting me to.
  2. What about bugs, controls and animations? Those are the worry points for me.
  3. http://www.nerfnow.com/comic/2179 Maybe it's too true to be funny.
  4. Other than the graphics, is there anything you thought could be outdated about the game? Controls mostly, ordering characters around is janky. The way you have to wait to access containers and corpses for loot is slow, but bearable. Quality of life type of things.
  5. Replaying KotOR II, but for the first time with the restoration mod. Just leaving Peragus II but so far the game didn't age as badly as I expected it to.
  6. Wait wait wait what. xD
  7. FO1 had implants? I don't remember that.
  8. I've been lazy posting the keys I've got from Humble Bundle so there's a bunch of new ones for anyone who cares: Killing Floor 2 Worms W.M.D. Eaten by birds. Or a grue. Stories Untold Eterium (Not to be confused with Etherium) HackyZack NBA 2017 Offworld Trading Company Overcooked Nongünz Plus the ones from before: SimplePlanes Galactic Civilizations III Kero Blaster Ashes of the Singularity: Escalation Shoppe Keep Recettear bought it Tiny Echo Hello-llolloello?
  9. You mean in the Retribution campaign? You can start a mission with a group of 4 heroes or 1 hero and 3 honor guard of regular units. Then you can capture 2-3 types of HQ buildings that give you access to various number of units and you can spend the resources you find during a mission to either revive/upgrade the heroes for the duration of the mission or buy more regular units. There's also abilities that let you summon units sometimes. Tyranids and Orks have passive abilities tha reinforce and/or summon units, as I recall.
  10. Echo is out now, to little fanfare as far as I can tell. Can't say much about the final quality personally but it has an intriguing concept.
  11. Its best MMORPG from Ultima online times in my opinion, there is grind but not for equipment with better stats but just for skins. Story is so so but for sure better than most other MMos out there and there is no monthly subscription so you can at least take it like single player RPG if you don't like it Plus the base game is free, but what Chilloutman said is accurate. It also has a lot of comfort features and is generally of a high quality so it makes other MMOs kinda painful to play/return to.
  12. Haha, I started on The Shining Blade mostly because I wanted Vengeance (2nd stage of the precursor, talk about masochism). I do hope The Shining Blade is not any indication of a trend for material requirements on legendary weapons though. "Insane" is putting it mildly. I've put that on hold to craft The Minstrel instead and start preparing for Legendary Armour since I'm getting close-ish (still a few very painful bosses to learn: Slothasor, Matthias and Xera come to mind) to finishing the first collection on that. 50 Provisioner Tokens per armor part is just mean (and tedious), so better start early so you can spread it out if you ever intend to go for it. While the armor might be expensive it will probably save me gold in the long run, being a Chrono main (and if the trend of stupid expensive Mesmer statsets/runes continues with PoF...) Precursor scavenging is what killed the game for me originally. The material requirements were a joke, I got so pissedd off I sold the deldrimor steel and spiritwood plank I was supposed to use just to craft the first of the Hunter and used the money I got to buy the finished precursor on TP with money to spare. So Shining Blade isn't so much a trend setter as a continuation of it. I was only willing to go for it because I almost have enough T5 mats to craft the curios (also, must have swooooords). Legendary armors I'm unwilling to even imagine the costs and they're all ugly. As for mesmers, if I knew my silvary will end up being a time mage I would've called her Thyme instead of Lilly.
  13. Jumping around between Guild Wars 2 and Stellaris. Working on HoT stuff in the former, got my 2nd ascended Caladbolg weapon and working on The Shining Blade (because I hate myself). In Stellaris I have two games running: one with the Leviathan add-on and an older one in co-op. We just got our asses handed to us because my friend thought we could take on a fallen empire before it awakens. xD
  14. We actually played a horror parody RPG involving iProducts assimilating humanity. I have fond memories of the iDoorstep "attacking" me and our ally Stephen Hawking turning out to be a malnourished/half-assimilated Bill Gates. Good times.
  15. I think they alluded to as much in interviews, but I don't mind them recharging the creative juices instead of churning out SR games like mad.
  16. Yeah, in my first game I was friendly or neutral with anyone but I couldn't do a Federated Victory because the -1000 from (/potential) members disliking each other was insurmountable. That said, I still love the game.
  17. ^Why do they take these photos though? That part I don't get.
  18. As others have noted, The two Preys are different beasts. If we're going strictly by quality of the games, I think the new one is better overall. It's a modernized System Shock.
  19. Presumably he has to stop constantly to sheperd the wights back to the herd that continue to break off and get lost.
  20. Get it on GoG, works like a charm.
  21. It was just a guess, you're probably right.
