If you have the Mage Slayer feat you can make Attacks of Opportunity against people casting near you, which theoretically may interrupt the casting even for 1 action spells (wording is a bit ambiguous). Normally you can only interrupt spells that require multiple turns of casting or need to be maintained with Concentration.

If there's a story heavily involving mind flayers, throwing in a gith makes sense to me. Arguably they're underrepresented in DnD tie-in stories? As for hostility, I don't know the in-story context, but considering there's romances in the game, they all have to mellow out at some point.

I haven't played the game yet, but the guy who boasts about 40 years of DnD experience complaining about the githyanki acting like a githyanki makes me scratch my head.

Crying Suns - It has a similar fuel mechanic to FTL, which made me bounce off of it, but AFAIK it's a good game. Star Traders: Frontiers - It's like a singleplayer MMO, if I had to sum it up short, and I'm sure someone on the internet would torch me for it. I burned out on it after a week or two, but it was an interesting concept. Elite: Dangerous still exists as well. Only medieval sim I know of is Kingdom Come: Deliverance.

I've seen some people suggest downgrades but I don't have the eyes or inclination to verify. The game is supposed to run on current gen consoles though.

Definitely. I'm still wishing for a Dark Heresy game, I don't care if it's like XCOM/Shadowrun Returns or has the budget of Mass Effect. Someone just make it already pleeeaaase.
