i have probably spent around 100+ hours playing the FF8 card game since the games release... best videogame mini-game EVER, perfect amount of effect on the actual game too (its dead true you can use it instead of fighting enemies to improve your party, i typically beat the game with my party only on level 20 or so)

thank christ for the QA section, i do not want to replay mass effect just to get things how i want for the sequel! ESPECIALLY if i want to play the sequel twice to see two different versions (which would then need me to go back and replay mass effect AGAIN for the second version ugh)

i love final fantasy 8, despite a couple bad plot decisions (at least one utterly silly plot point, that is largely irrelevant to the actual story).

borderlands is just as lowest common denominator as fallout 3... or was that your point? i like both games, but saying either is a tenth as awesome as fallout 1 is heresy and such speaker shall be burned.

http://xbox360.ign.com/articles/105/1055366p1.html at the end it mentions how part three of the trilogy might be a completely different game depending on how you finish 2, saying the differences are even more pronounced than what happens in 2 as a result of what happened in 1. hmmm.... i doubt they will stick to this, people will whine too much, if they do it I expect to be able to choose at the beginning, ESPECIALLY those people who never played 1 or 2 - they'd be getting screwed out of a big chunk of the game. that said, it sounds cool just because its such a nutso idea

i like wii baseball. i actually plan on buying mlb 09 because of positive word of mouth. though i dislike baseball, i like good video games

yeah no kidding, a marketing blitz is going on right now for that game (red dead), i heard the original was very mediocre, and yet this one is looking pretty cool

i will be hugely disappointed if its set in modern times. I hope they just do one more historical game and sprinkle in some of the modern stuff. A full game set in a modern setting just sounds lame since part of what sets the series about is the historical fiction aspects of it
