  1. Ghana should have gotten the goal on the spot after the cheating from Suarez. And the cheating bastard even dared to jubilate after the missed penalty, and what was he doing on the pitch later on, being lifted on the shoulders of his fellows as some kind of hero? It was a made goal that was prevented in an irregular way... and after the missed penalty Ghana was obviously completely hammered mentally. Bah.
  2. IT IS. I've only played the first three chapters, but they improved about EVERYTHING. The gameplay is already more varied, tactical and fun than Max Payne could ever hope to be. The graphics, and sound are really nice even today (while I had to use a patch to even HEAR sound in Max Payne ). Writing and attention to detail seem to be improved too : When you're in a situation like me you can only think in metaphors. Playing with Mona was pretty fun. Bullet time is as lame & game breaking as VATS.
  3. Here's hoping for a Uruguay-Paraguay final. Let the big dogs fight for the bone and the underdogs run away with it.
  4. If you head north fresh out of the Vault, there's a viaduct with some raiders that can quickly kill a freshman player. There's also a barn where a Mr Gutsy can spawn in a random encounter. If you're really unlucky, Talon mercs can spawn there right away too. Head too far south and one reaches Fairfax Ruins, where there are lots of raiders with assault rifles and rocket launchers. So yeah, it can be pretty hard alright for kiddies that came from Oblivion and expected the same type of level scaling.
  5. Somehow I think Argentina would've totally destroyed the Dutchies in the first half. They were terrible, almost as bad as England in the first half against Germany.
  6. Lulz, that equalizer was the silliest goal I've ever seen on a World Cup. It should've been 2-0 at least on half time. Free ticket for the finals for the Dutch!
  7. Quit the acting on the pitch, Van Persie.
  8. Come to think of it, with Canada to the North, doesn't the USA have a problem with emigration as well?
  9. Reminds me of the "Hutu" or "Tutsi" mentioned on old Rwandese passports... or Jewish stars in the 30s.
  10. Star Spawn of Cthulhu vs Yithians?
  11. I'd be very surprised if some wingnut hasn't yet proposed landmines and/or automated turrets on the border yet.
  12. Imagine all the suckers that actually played through the game four times just to get the 'real'/'good' ending.
  13. It's going to be 34
  14. This is pretty slanderous.
  15. I finally managed to finish Mass Effect with a male Shepard.
  16. Seems it's Titan Quest.
  17. Yet another offside goal tonight. But since it sent Cristiano Ronaldo home, I guess it's alright.
  18. I saw the G.I. Joe movie yesterday. It was not that good, and the only thing that could have saved the movie did not happen: Paris was not eaten by a swarm of nano-termites.
  19. Age of Wonders.
  20. Playing Duck Tales on a modern machine is always a hoot. It uses the PC speaker for sound.
  21. I'd really like to see a pic of an Archon as well. I'm curious how this contraption will fit into the lore.
  22. Argentina was utter **** this evening. Where was Messi? Was he even on the pitch? Without the 1-0 on the silver platter, they might have gone out. Germany, please blitz these overrated bags of wind.
  23. 1966 wasn't a goal. But apart from this, England has always been generally unlucky during big tournaments, losing with penalties against Germany a couple of times, then Argentina in 1998... I don't remember their mishaps in the past two world cups. Germany is now playing with a very young team, and their under-19 and under-17 teams already became world champions... their future is secured for a very long time. But England? They desperately need to start building a new, young team from scratch.
