  1. It won't even be a speck on Blizzard's radar.
  2. Undoubtedly there's the mandatory breaking of countless barrels and chests for ph4t l00t.
  3. Is this person male or female? Also, did the Cirque du Soleil call and get their employee back?
  4. Was to be expected. Still pretty terrible, Radon Labs was a decent developer and the second game improved so much on the first. Then again, it might turn out to be decent. Aventuria is a great setting, and TDE has some fun character classes to play with.
  5. Shadow over Innsmouth? Cthulhu statue? Rather, the villagers worshipped the Lady of the Lake (whom the statue depicted). Also, vodyanoi are older than H.P. Lovecraft's Cthulhu Mythos, same goes for Dagon (ancient Sumeric water-god).
  6. Isn't The Sims, best-selling PC game of all time, played by a majority of women? The same was true for Myst (best-selling PC game before that), I believe.
  7. Look at the bright side, if DA:O didn't have romances included, perhaps there would have been more Deep Roads or Temple-of-the-Urn.
  8. DS was pretty much the only party-based action RPG, which set it apart from the many single-hero type ones like Diablo, Sacred & Divine Divinity. I'd like it to remain that way... not to mention Diablo 3 & Kingdoms of Amalur will be the main competitors, and both use the single-hero type.
  9. Isn't "art direction" some kind of Godwin's Law in any thread containing screenies? Screenies look worse than Divinity 2 (and way worse than Flames of Vengeance), but that's not really a competitor.
  10. Sounds good, as long as gameplay doesn't suffer from all these story 'gimmicks'. Story isn't what the bulk of players play Dungeon Siege for. Anyway, it sounds as if gameplay mimics Sacred 2, which can't be bad in my book.
  11. Now that is good news. Hopefully they hire original CrossGen writers/artist and the unfinished stories can end like they were intended. Or at least the big climactic storyline that ended with a cliffhanger due to banktrupcy. Bendis' Elektra & Alias series are very good. I also like his Avengers - he did the Civil War + Secret Invasion + Dark Reign plotlines that were pretty earth-shattering for the Marvel Universe.
  12. I'd like narrators that, instead of embelleshing the hero's actions, would do the exact opposite, along with taking constant potshots at the 'hero'. Something like this was in the Bard's Tale remake (I believe that was Tony Jay)... it was even taken further in that game by the protagonist at one part reacting to the narrator's snarkyness.
  13. Unless you really want superhero comics, there's much better stuff out there than anything from Marvel or DC. CrossGen for instance has some brilliant fantasy/sci-fi/detective/samurai/sword & sorcery comic book series, that all form part of one big grand design storyline.
  14. Seems like a stupid premise, knocked-off from Marvel's "Secret Invasion" plotline. There's an entire Green Lantern Corps that would have destroyed that threat before it even reached Earth.
  15. Judging from the trailer, it looks like this game is heading into Sacred 2 over-the-topness.
  16. ... And the BioWare Social Network was engulfed in flames.
  17. Well, Dragon Age had pretty cool concept art, but look how the actual game turned out. Anyone can hire Frank Frazetta to draw something Epic.
  18. So there will be more pushing old ladies from the stairs?
  19. When a Super Mutant Overlord is shooting you with a Tri-beam, or with the Super-Laser-Minigun-Of-Doom, you really want to shoot the weapon from their hands. It can also be useful to target the weapon of a Sentry bot & the targeting system of a Mr Gutsy.
  20. Did Karpyshyn rape your cat?
  21. Will DS3 even use a party? From the only preview that mentioned combat, it sounded Divinity 2 or Demon Stone like, i.e. one or two game characters & continuous involvement of the player being necessary.
  22. "Through a glimpse at the game
  23. No, fusion inside a star stops at iron. Heavier elements come to be formed in the 'blow-off' from stars & supernovae, when neutrons bombard iron cores.
