No. New Vegas was alright because they received all the assets and engine of Failout 3 from Bethesda, so they could focus on their strengths rather than creating everything from scratch. If Obsidian had to make Skyrim from scratch, it would be completely doomed.

I joined the Stormcloaks because I could identify with the Nords wanting freedom.. they are basically my fantasy setting ancestors. That was to be expected, though. Some in-game books make it clear how the Thalmor are evil masterminds whose plans take centuries to unfold. They removed the moons for two years only to have Elsweyr defect, and possibly even were responsible for the eruption of Red Mountain.

I became Thane of Markarth, Whiterun, Falkreath, Solitude, Morthal and Dawnstar. Morthal was a backwater as expected, but I expected more from Dawnstar. I joined the Legion because I wasn't impressed by Ulfric ****cloak. He's a major pansy and dumb as a brick, while Tullius and Rikke are pretty badass.

Do more dragons spawn as the main quest progresses? The only dragons I've killed were at the dragon markers on the map (mountain tops). I've only killed 4 out in the wild. I have too many words that need to be unlocked but find no dragons to kill (and I realize I will probably regret saying this).

Not for a pure mage. The Mage armour perks make armour spells 3 times as powerful + robes give benefits of mana regeneration. Armour, smithing & enchanting skills take either too long to level or some ridiculous munchkining to be effective.

I'm guessing Wabbajack doesn't work on dragons or bosses? I'd like to turn them into chickens.

I got infected with vampirism each time a vampire used that health drain power.

Only good thing about EU is the Eastern European hotties coming to Brussels to work for EU.

It seems there's some small C&C with the Daedric quests. I've had some very specific random encounters after Peryite, Namira and Molag Bal. The Radiant Story appears to really work.

The "Lost Legends" quest you pick up from reading a book, is pretty damn impressive. The random Daggerfall-like quests are just to make gold.

I just received an invitation to the SWTOR beta on the BSN, even though I never even bothered to even register for it. Anyone want the beta key? I'm not interested in this anyhow.

There's a shout that distracts enemies, don't know if it's any good.

Two Worlds 2: Pirates of the Flying Fortress already beat Risen 2 at their own game.

Illusion levels lightning fast. Just cast Muffle over and over again. Best mage school by far, especially once you can control Centurions.

The UI is okay (Daggerfall had pretty much the same), it's just the huge fonts that need fixing.
