  1. Hey, I don't care much as long as I can play as a Hanar.
  2. Still trying to capture that CoD crowd, I see.
  3. I'm currently level 22 in Daggerfall, fully decked in enchanted Daedric armour and weapons, and about 1/3 through in the main quest. I'm taking currently taking my time doing all Daedric quests (already won Ring of Khajiiti, Mask of Clavicus Vile, Ebony Blade and Ebony Mail) and developing my character all the way to level 30 and beyond. I nearly broke the main quest because I risked to go beyond the time limit travelling from the King of Worms' lair to Wayrest, but after reaching Master Wizard rank in the Mages Guild I can now teleport free of charge all over the place and I no longer lose time. I also made a custom "Awesome Button" spell that has a 75% chance to disintegrate all enemies in a large radius (and it will be 100% chance at level 30), and because I picked Spell Absorption as an advantage at character creation I can restore all my mana points after casting it, meaning I can spam that spell forever. Yeeeaaaaahhhhhh. Best Bethesda game ever, as far as gameplay and pure fun factor go (well, Failout 3 may come close though).
  4. I say let Turkey annex Greece first.
  5. Hint system? The Smoking Mirror is the worst Broken Sword when it comes to absurd puzzle solutions and surreal encounters.
  6. Daggerfall has exactly the same leveling as Oblivion, all the way up to bandits dropping Daedric weapons and equipment. It's even worse in that any dungeon will reset upon re-entry, meaning you can farm multiple sets of high-level equipment and make tons of money. Or simply rest in the wilderness and kill the spawning enemies until they drop something decent. The only difference is that due to everything being randomized, you can pick up quests at low level that have you meet high-level enemies like daedra and liches. Or you can run into a bug where a vampire ancient spawns in a low level dungeon. It's a very broken game in so many ways.
  7. The only thing die-hard fans of the books can complain about, is that you can balefire Ishamael in the game decades before Rand al'Thor is born.
  8. Yoshimo > Jan > Imoen > Nalia. Nalia can't do much without potions of master thievery.
  9. wut
  10. It's a bit of an unfortunate title, considering there is also LOTR: War in the North comign out.
  11. Anyway, awesome new screenshots here: http://elderscrolls.net/
  12. Playing Daggerfall and replaying Failout 3 on and off. I forgot what tons of fun both games still are.
  13. You can fire a death ray at the wasteland in Mothership Zeta... According to the Fallout wiki, this is the blast radius (hey, you even take out the Pitt) :
  14. God hates kids.
  15. Sounds spoiler-ish, so I will refrain.
  16. Best video game writers of all time: Steve Meretzky Ragnar T
  17. Broken Sword 4 Nico is the best, but the game itself sucks balls.
  18. A few of the landmarks might be different, but it would be too similar to Washington DC to feel "new". FO3 covered ruined metropolises, FO:NV covered desert/frontier style settings. We need more swamps in games, so the everglades would be interesting. Bring in the mutated alligators and lots of radiated water Any significant landmarks on Hawaii? Point Lookout dealt with swamps. I would rather not see any more crazy tribals and hillbillies ever again.
  19. This is something I can agree with, but I'd put the NWN series between BG2 and DA2.
  20. I must say I was disappointed with Rawr. I was expecting the Legendary Molerat.
  21. It will either be Chicago or the Commonwealth.
  22. Gears of War 3 goes triple-platinum in first week Problem, Mass Effect?
  23. It's all about expectations. I expected a lot of Twitcher 2, and it turned out a major disappointment. I expected nothing from DA 2 and Deux Ex, and enjoyed both greatly.
