  1. I will solo it. Or take a dog. I'm replaying DA:O at the moment and it's, as I've said before, a perfectly fun CRPG. I have the dog and Shale. No romance. No whiny NPCs. Just barking, slashing and bashing.
  2. To be fair, it is a pre-Alpha build, right?
  3. I might get it once full mod support for the Pocket Plane classics comes out.
  4. ^ Looks like Age of Decadence to me.
  5. Me. I can't stand Arcanum. The music makes me want to slash my wrists. I don't like Fallout 1 either. Bwahahahahhahaha. The feeling of liberation is like fire flowing through my veins.
  6. Wow. I mean... wow. I thought I was the only guy on this forum who didn't like PS:T and now I find two other soul-mates. It's like I can come out of the closet and join a support group or something.
  7. The word we're looking for is dog-whistle. We all know what he's getting at, which is why he's doing it. This is a privately owned website with strict rules. I'm just surprised he's allowed to get away with it. I've been ordered to remove fairly innocent images (Chainmail bikini squad springs to mind) yet Oby can play stealth-anti-semite all day and not be moderated. Oh well.
  8. Hey Oby, I know your a troll and everything, but I'm still in the mood. I'm a fairly open-minded person and hardly a White Knight of the internet. But what I am is one of the good guys, a product of The Enlightenment and the triumph of Western Liberal democracy. That means I'm implacably opposed to the Occidental totalitarianism that seems to breed like Typhus East of the The Vistula. So, please, do us all a favour a **** off.
  9. Why is he never warned or moderated? I'm finding it a bit old too.
  10. The Stand, by Stephen King. And it's the 1990 unedited 'special version' which teaches us the importance of editors. I have such mixed feelings about Stephen King. On the one hand he's a towering genius. On the other, his obsession with over-wordy, insignificant Americana drives me to distraction. The Stand is meant to be King's homage to TLotR, an American Gothic epic. Which it certainly is, Mama Abagail is a brilliant character. Anyway, I'm about halfway through and recommend it as long as you know it's hard work.
  11. ^ Indeed. We are rendered as mere Simians, semi-humans cobbled together with baser stuff, compared to the rapture that is Grimoire.
  12. He's like a character from a Neal Stephenson novel. And although the game looks bloody awful, like a disco-cataract stuck in my eye, the back-story to how it was made is so awesome I feel like buying it anyway.
  13. Well, I do suppose Dragon Age 2 does resemble a shooter more than it does an RPG, but I don't think anyone would call it sandboxy. Isn't it a very long, narrow sandbox with lots of similar looking caves?
  14. I really want to see how the third party / Android support works, am properly intrigued. Is it a gimmick or will it rock my world?
  15. Hello. This is one of the few games that has got me excited about getting a PS4. Tactical MP post-apoc sand-box shooter with RPG elements? Yes puh-leez. Even Mrs. Monte has agreed to fly the team drone via her tablet. So, is this game The Next Best Thing or over-hyped bollocks? Personally, my favourite thing about the trailer (apart from the drone) is the laconic character voice-overs and the interaction with the environment. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=681UCgTSB_g
  16. It's A golden age, Hurlie, not The Golden Age, IMO But yeah, the indie scene and Kickstarter are very exciting.
  17. Woldan, you'd have been a great wingman for me back in the day - we have pretty opposite tastes in women!
  18. I don't know if anyone else has posted this, but CDProjekt have confirmed no DRM for TW3
  19. Developers being whipped to work harder 24/7 in tiny cells... amuses me.
  20. I am not Oby. I simply don't have the time.
  21. hA HA HA. nO. * turns off caps lock * I tried the first STALKER game and it didn't grab me. Sry.
  22. Oby, you're rumbled. It was good while it lasted, I mean a masterclass in fact. But can you tell us who you are now?
