  1. More bomb traps: https://tsn.ua/en/ato/boobytrapped-milk-carton-primed-with-bomb-was-given-to-grandmother-by-russian-soldier-in-kherson-the-woman-miraculously-survived-photo-2048860.html
  2. I've read that some Sims 4 stuff was banned in russia because it has the gay in it. Maybe they are making this guy look gay? Could also explain the weird green wig.
  3. I'm still waiting for RLM to talk about it. Maybe they are waiting for the final episode?
  4. Not exactly sure if this is funny or sad, tho.
  5. For what it's worth, I'm glad that Macron has won, however, it's way, way too close for my liking. Almost the half of france doesn't seem to have issues with having a right wing, russian pupped as their fuhrer.
  6. Meh, I don't agree. IF ukraine can get access back to the oil fields and the offshore stuff (crimea), we will likely pump lots of money into the country to get access to those resources for cheap prices.
  7. I mean, germans are pretty much anti-war for the majority of the past 70 years. Every time a politician wanted to get into a war, it caused a major ****storm in the whole country. Most of what we have military-wise is intended for defense, and even in this area we are lacking a lot due to corruption and incompetence. Considering this, I don't think it's surprising that germany doesn't really have the military capacities.
  8. I've read the issue with germany and sending heavy weapons is that ... we simply don't have any to spare. If we send our guns to ukraine, our military won't have any guns anymore for years(!) to come, which basically means that whole units will have to be disbanded, unless we keep training them like north korea - with imaginative weapons. The weapon / vehicle factories are also booked out for the next 10 or what years. It's simply impossible to produce more, faster right now.
  9. I think it's cheaper to kill them like that. Also no need to show gore, etc. which gives a better age rating. Basically the bad guy just disappears and it's done.
  10. I've heard there are already 5 high profile gazprom guys who, uh, did the suicide. Coincidence indeed. Just wondering if this really is a Putin purge like some assume, or if some other intelligence agencies are involved. Guess we will never really find out.
  11. lol, I thought the news feeds are bombing me with the same "oligarch family suicide"-story since yesterday, but now I accidentally found out that there was a *second* family that "suicided" itself. Coincidentally both families are linked to gazprom. Surely we live in mysterious times.
  12. Watched The Batman yesterday. Truth told, I'm not sure what to think of it. The style and atmosphere was pretty good, imo. I liked that a lot. But it also felt really long ... when I thought it is about to be done, suddenly it kept going for almost another hour. Also there is a bit of a weird dissonance in style, because on the one side they are trying to show a more "down to earth" Batman, who doesn't have the kind of super powers he has in other movies -- he doesn't fly around the city, he travels with a motorcycle and civilian clothes, his mask looks very self-made out of generic leather, etc. -- But then they keep blasting machine gun bursts into him and he doesn't even care about it (nor does the suit, there is never even a scratch in it). I'm also curious where the hell he has hidden his suit all the time. If he is in "civilian mode", he has a backpack, but I highly doubt he can store it in there ... also, how is he able to swap the clothes so fast? Doesn't look like one can jump in and out of the batsuit that quickly. Still, people were right when they said it does feel a lot like the old 90s cartoon. Even though I'm undecided about this movie, I wouldn't mind seeing a followup.
  13. I'm actually surprised that the remnants in the steel factory still have (or had) food and water left after so much time. The way I understood it, there must be at least ~1k people. Try getting rations for so many people if you are surrounded.
  14. In the beginning of the war they were showing russian tanks that had the explosives in the reactive armor removed. Basically it was just the empty shell, sometimes even only made out of cardboard box.
  15. Would be kinda sad. He managed to play the game for so long and dodged all the time. It's quite an achievement.
  16. I'm a wee bit desperate by now, so I'll just post in here: I'm looking for a writer who would be willing to help out with some ... writing. Paid job, the content will find its way into a commercial game. Not a lot is required, some monologuing, some task texts, coming up with some ideas for story background, etc. A slight interest in northern africa / morocco and algier is preferred. Anyone around who would feel the motivation to help out?
  17. That reminds me .. for some reason every software on my TV (Netflix, Amazon Prime, etc) thinks that I have a 5.1 sound system... but I don't. I have 2 speakers in the TV in front of me ... Every time, on every single movie I have to manually switch back to stereo, or else the 5.1 sound will mix wrong and the voices get drowned. Super annoying. Why does nobody offer a setting to force stereo?
  18. You probably need more vitality. I started pumping it up now - want to get to at least 45 or 50 ... Based on old FS games, I stopped at vitality 30, but that's clearly not enough in Elden Ring.
  19. Why the hell would the US build biological laboratories in mongolia.
  20. Why is it so hard to find out if a big boat is still over water level.
