Here you can get the resolution hack. There are some graphic problems with the top icons, but that's hardly a deal. Other than that, it runs great. Though, had to re-learn all hotkeys again, because especially in the addon you really need the hotkeys for increased speed... Regarding game speed, if I remember correct, you can adjust that in the game settings. Really wish I could play the main game with the new items from the addon. After playing the addon, the main game feels so empty and meh, due to the lack of cigs, puppet-function, etc. etc.

Started playing a bit Commandos again, as I found out that there is a widescreen patch. Yay. It's funny how in the end of a mission, I always have a mountain of captured soldiers. :> (I never kill them if I don't really have to)

Don't have any and won't buy any. Next up is Risen 2 anyway, so Max Payne 3 has to wait till it get's cheaper.

I have not a single partition on my HDD which has more free space than 25GB. Probably won't be playing Max Payne 3 then for a while.

And I grew up much more in the east. Note: This was not meaned as a east / west hit.

Not sure if I will buy Risen 2 on release. A part of me would like to, but another part of me isn't really interested in it right now. Especially since the latest news about two day 1 quest DLCs popped up, from which one is in the special edition and the other additionally in this special, special edition.

I would put my hands on W1 again, if they port it to the RED engine and do some tweaks regarding all that running around. While this, they could also change some stuff here and there, to make it fit better to W2. :>

Well, the game will be pirated in any case, as every game will be. And if any Kickstarter backer is pissed about it then... he needs to get a reality check. Also as Wasteland 2 will be DRM free, it just requires one guy who uploads the game to somewhere and that's it.

I see nothing wrong in that. Or let's say: I totally don't care about this. Pretty sure that inter-game C&C would just have turned out to be crap anyway... just like it did in ME.

That's why I am happy that Wasteland 2 got over 3 million. They won't see all of that money, but it is a lot more than their initial 900k / 1 million.

Just noticed, that the dragon scene in the beginning was not shortened. It's just that the second part can't be chosen anymore at the beginning of the dialog. But other than that the combat got really easy (never got seriously damaged in chapter 0 even though I got hit a few times and I still remember how I had to redo the dragon + wood house + fire scene like 20 times until I got past it. This time I was just running through and done.). Also there are some new cutscenes in the game, where Dandelion is telling the story. I like that. /Edit: Looking at that link above, it seems to me the PC version has way too much bloom...

Yea, tried it already the night. First change I saw was in the beginning with the dragon. This part was a lot shorter, with the "jump away from fire"-part totally missing. Also the prequel is a lot easier in difficult, though I think this was done already in the 2.0 patch.

Like I owe you an answer. Go play it yourself, if possible, past the tutorial area? Then come back and apologize how right I was. I didn't played it (because I don't want to spend money on a game that might be ****ty FPS) and you don't want to tell my why it is better than any other FPS. Guess I will never find out then.

No. If the game got funded, your money is taken and if the game fails to exist after that, you will not get your money back.

Also, so far we do not know what will happen if a project fails to get developed even though it got the asked funding. Imagine you are investing $250 into a game which will then never happen. Prepare for a) ignoring this issue in anger or b) step right into lawyer bull**** and all this ta-ta so that you maybe get your money back... or not. With Wasteland 2, the Banner Saga, Shadowrun, etc. the risk is not so high, which is why I pledge for this without thinking much about it. But I wouldn't do this with every project just because it sounds good on paper.

Playing some Legend of Grimrock right now. Around 2 hours into it and so far it is really good.

Finally got a Jagdtiger in World of Tanks. The tank is fun to play, but really not a money maker...
