Got a Krogan now. Pretty funny, indeed, especially because of the comments and because he feels so happy if you kill stuff. Saw another Krogan player yesterday and when a wave was over, we headknocked each other and stuff, cause we are cool Krogans. Though, in the beginning it was pretty hard, as he plays really different from the human soldier and I somehow cannot into shotguns... they feel so damn weak.

I found the ending to be so open, ME4 could be about Shepard trying to find his ol' crew.

I tried once to play- with 4 people and it was a mess. Someone always blocked everyone from moving forward, then everyone was running around like headless chickens, then the camera was zoomed in so much that you couldn't do any range combat, etc. Pretty sure the coop would have been better if everyone would have had their own camera view. It still would have been possible to limit the area to walk in, so the group cannot split up too much and the reason for why everyone shares one camera (I think it had something to do with loading the areas?) is workarounded... and the general gameplay is better.

Hah, that reminds me. I changed my hardware since then. More ram, new graphic card, new big widescreen. Damn, now I am tensed to replay the game... but still one month of waiting lies in front of me. And didn't they once said they want to release modding tools? This somehow totally died off.... but I would love to make a Witcher 2 mod or two.

With a better coop-mode, the game would have been a much better runner, imo. I would really love to play the dlc, but can't get me to play it again... alone.

I am just annoyed that the fuzz is mostly about the ending being dark and not that the players choices don't have any influence. :/

Well, they censored this islamic (?) carpet stuff very early in Witcher 2. So you cannot buy the game anyway then, Nepenthe. :>

Why the hell limiting dlc playtime to 4 hours? I thought the best thing about all FNV dlcs was, that they had at least 7 to 8 hours of playtime. It made them very unique among game dlcs, which ususally aren't over 40 minutes at max...

I have a big problem with calling a two years old game a "classic."

I want someone to write more DLC for it.

It isn't even known if there will be a kickstarter project at all.

I have a hard time to believe that anything more than like 3 to 5 million dollars are even possible with Kickstarter (at least in one month). Also, as everyone probably knows, it's unlikely that this will hold up for a longer time... And: If the games made via Kickstarterfund tend to be ****, nobody will give money to it anymore anyway. Long story short, yeah, I am pretty sure you can't survive over a longer time just with Kickstarter-like stuff.

It would be damn bad. I somehow feel a tad pissed now, especially after the great Wasteland 2 stuff.

That's another reason why I really wouldn't want to work in the industry. Seems like you have to become a kind of job nomad in order to stay alive, going from one firm to the next.

Yea, I personally couldn't put in another 250$ right now for a different title. So if they really want to start something, it should wait till the Wasteland 2 kickstarter stuff is done.

Loved Witcher 2, will make a new replay as soon as the pc patch with the new content is out.
