Women should never be forced to an abortion, but I agree that men can be screwed pretty hard... Probably the best way would be - as said already - to allow the men to say nay when they find out that they are going to become a father. Still, this is problematic. This can turn into men saying nay right from the beginning, in any case, even if they might want the child / want to be the father, just to protect themself from a possible financial burden (for example, if both split up shortly after or whatever). Then you need people again who will decide if the nay-claim of the male part is valid or not... which can be really problematic and unfair. I mean, how would you want to judge that? Long time ago I was reading about a practice of birth control for men that wasn't a vasectomy and apparently works way better as well. Some stuff will be injected into the spermatic duct, which then destroys all sperm on a nano-level or something like that. It holds on for around 10 years and can be reverted at any time. Also it's said to be pretty cheap, which is the reason why we don't see much advert for it - the industry would lose a lot money if this becomes more common. This, actually, seems to me quite a reasonable method for men who do not want children yet, but might want in the future. Should check out if I can find any more information on that. Haven't read about it since years. /Edit: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reversible_inhibition_of_sperm_under_guidance

How about not speeding in the first place? Speed limits exist for a reason. I really can't feel sad for people who get fines for that or die in car accidents if they were speeding and lost control over the vehicle. It just sucks donkey balls if other people are dragged into this, only because some idiot overestimated his driving skills... Which happens often enough.

I actually don't think that Overgrowth will ever be finished. :> And by now it already took so much time, that I am certain the game will suck when it is released.

Got the same feeling. On the one side he is really damn good, but on the other side sometimes I really wish to yell GOD DAMNIT, GET IT DONE ALREADY while reading his stuff. I love the dark tower books, but seriously, I think they could be at least 1000 pages shorter.

Yes, it is in development already since a long time and started out on moddb: http://www.moddb.com/games/kenshi It doesn't look bad to me, but I am following it since years and it feels to me as if their progress is really slow.

Last time I was shopping with girls I felt exactly the same.

For me personally, a sandbox game is where you really can do whatever you want. Like... you want to bake bread like in Ultima Online, then you can. Or you own a house and are able to add furniture to it,... stuff like that. You can't do such things in most "sandbox games from nowadays" like, for example, GTA5. Sure you got the huge open world, and you might have minigames, but other than that there is nothing else to be done. Same with Red Dead Redemption. It's a great game, but it surely is no sandbox game. Yadda-yadda.

Watched the first episode of Elementary a while back and rated it as so, so bad. Can't be compared to Sherlock, imo.

Well, at least the graphics are awesome looking.

What's your build? Finished the extended demo with this stats:

Like I said in the beginning. It was just too obvious- and the website code was changing all the time. That's really not Bethesda-style. They would have finished everything first, and then kept it running till the end.

InExile is plotting to ruin Torment by making it turn-based

They should have never started the combat poll in the first place. The decision for tb doesn't surprise me and I am happy about the result.- 343 replies

Nah, it's a pretty cool setting. In fact, it needs even more roman stuff.

I did it, woot! Feeling like a real badass now (because I killed 'em all, not because I made 'em naked).

Still playing Age of Decadence here and there. Trying my hands on a combat build, but I totally suck at it. Managed to win most battles so far, but not without lots of reloading. It annoys me most if I have a good run, but then the last guy pwns the hell out of me.

Watched Dead Man Down. I really liked it and Colin Farrell is a cool dude.

I managed 4 of 5 cds, then I stopped because it felt like everything is repeating all the time. Everytime I switched to the next cd, some other guy from my party was lying in bed, being wounded and stuff.

Yup. The first Fallout3 DLC retconned the ending of FE3 so you survived. It also changed it so if you re-played the game from the start, there were options so you wouldn't die. It was Broken Steel, the last DLC, not the first. The first one was a horrible corridor shooter. I never played any other ME2 DLCs and had no real problem with following the events in ME3. Though, it might also be because the story was stupid anyway... no idea.

Maybe I should try again to play Far Cry 3, because I never noticed such things.
-
I am wondering if this is still true, though. Because I can't remember when I played a game the last time that required a dlc for more information on the main story or something like this. Some games have pre-order dlc which add to the games content, but this is most of the time just minimal stuff that probably could be ignored easily as well. Like the pretty useless armor pre-order dlcs from New Vegas, etc.

Bought brütal legend for < 2€. I am happy that I didn't bought it for 15, not the 7 € from the past days. :>

Bought a bunch of train simulator 2014 dlcs. :D considering the normal dlc prices, this was the best thing I could do.
