Haven't played any other game than arma3 the past two or what months. Still working on my mini-campaign that is shaping up quite nicely. Right now it looks like this could be the first arms campaign that I really will be able to release. Gonna shoot for the best quality I can possibly deliver, though, which basically means, I'll have to pay up for some good voice over. Only problem is... Gonna need Farsi speaking people. Well, that will become a challenge.

It is kind of more true to the original, which was top down only. Still, the way it is in W2 just makes you feel like you can't see anything at all, because you can't zoom out far enough.

Does anyone really care for Bard's Tale 4, though? If I remember right, the KS barely made it and so far I've read nobody anywhere write anything about it.

Yeah, I only wanted to read stories about Geralt, so everything else didn't really interest me so much either. They aren't badly written or something, but Geralt is what brought me into it and not necessarily the world and its politics, which the "real books" deal a lot more with. /Edit: I mean these small excerpts out of the witchers lives. That was what made it so great for me. Doesn't necessarily have to be purely about Geralt, though.

I like them the most as well. Read through them a few times already.

Watched some people playing it... Looked boring. Really not a fan of pointless "exploring" games. What worth is a big game world if you only ever do the same grind.

Maybe that way they fill up their servers or something. Don't now how many people are still playing it.

When zoomed out fully, it was still much closer to the characters and the ground than before. They removed any possibility to look into the distance. I think they changed this again later in a patch, claiming "it was a bug, honestly!" but the damage was done. Also I felt highly annoyed by the fact they've rather spend more money on voice over than improving some of the very disappointing side quests related stuff. There is so much else they could have done, instead they decided to add more voice over which really wasn't necessary, imo. Oh, and also when the KS was running, it was one of the things people voted for as being not very important...

That game is in development already since forever.

Couldn't get into the W2 DC because they changed the camera perspective in a way that 100% turned me off. Didn't tried it again ever since. Also that reminds me... Some of them announced novellas are still not released, no?

I totally forgot this was being worked on.

So apparently the game will have a console release now too.

Is this the beginning of the end of movies based on comics? Was there any comic book movie lately that didn't got trashed from someone?

Aren't you at home on NMA? Rarely nowadays. Bethsoft successfully killed Fallout for me. Also I can't get used to the new NMA forum theme (couldn't really get into the one before already).

It's true, but compared to other action movies of this generation, I can perfectly ignore these issues.

For me, Fury Road is the best action movie in a long time. I know of nothing specific that I could / would criticize in it. It has the perfect pacing, no dumb dialogue (if you can't have smart dialogue, rather have none at all) and the car chasing scenes are awesome looking. Have seen the movie at least 4 or so times by now and man.. How often do I rewatch a movie nowadays? That happens so, so rarely. I really totally want the next movie now.

Your weapons are bad. But don't worry- play a while in the DZ and you'll get much better equipment. Of course, the DZ is also made for playing *with* other people. Going solo always makes it more difficult (and less fun, imo). The DZ is also level locked- if you reach level x, you will automatically connect to the next higher DZ instance, and so on. If you see some extraction point as "blocked", you might want to move to a different one. There are quite a few around (I think at least two per sector).

Just finished Stranger Things... in one go. It's years since I've managed to watch a tv show season on only one day. Damn.

VR is still a tad more expensive than TrackIR. :>

Would be more awesome if GTA 5 would allow TrackIR. I can't play car-games anymore in first person without TrackIR. Seriously, it's a huge difference.
