  1. [Perception] I sense Morgoth does not like King's Bounty.
  2. I've always played Roman on the World Map. Always feels more fun to me since Civ 2, although I'm excluding a lot that way. As for Civ V, ehhh
  3. Tribes Ascend, I must master the disc. It's not as cool as Tribes 1 was, skiing still feel a bit weird and you stop far too quickly. Also not a huge fan of the rather accurate (at most engagement ranges) assault rifle or the fact there's classes with 2 weapons each. Still though, can't avoid grinning when I see put a disc on a guy from 100m as he lands.
  4. Hm, not really sure that makes sense for them to be 'militant', I'm pretty sure the crap they must deal with every day isn't related to religion, heh.
  5. Remember, just use the Hook.
  6. So Alan Wake is heading to PC. http://www.pcgamer.com/2011/12/14/alan-wak...arly-next-year/
  7. Uh okay ? Point was it's nothing to be shocked at or more outraged over as it's expected as they're being "funtwits" with big games. The reported 25% was a lot lower than I was expecting though.
  8. They got pretty lucky in that lottery, heh. I rather enjoy having militant athiests around though, they're fun and easy to troll.
  9. Hm, are you sure Kevin J Anderson isn't involved ?
  10. Nah, that's not insane, just consistent. Kind of like pirating demos, which is odd but it's done. Heh, it does make me recall the developer that allowed people to pay what they want, then was annoyed that people chose to pay nothing.
  11. Played a bit of Tribes Ascend. Is really fun, nice to know my disc skills haven't rusted up after all these years.
  12. Everything seems working so will grab Ground Control 2, Crusader, Stronghold Crusader, DK2 and Tropico. Might take a gamble on Haegemonia and Runaway : A Road Adventure, anyone have an opinion on either ?
  13. And down they go, bit embarassing. This was on their FB
  14. Empire Earth is free today, as well.
  15. Holiday sale
  16. Tried some more Tropico 3, still facerolling through things so blehh.
  17. Nothing exciting. Generals was fun to play though, so maybe that'll be worth it.
  18. Huh, so it is Generals 2. http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2011-12-...quer-generals-2
  19. How was I making excuses for thieves by asking about a situation you've admitted isn't thievery. Was out of curiosity.
  20. Pft, authenticity.
  21. Why not bring DRM into the topic though, it is related and not being laser like focused on the topic isn't exactly required here, heh. Besides, then all we'll have are posts with rageposting about pirates (although funny). Hm, so if someone buys a game and then cracks it, that person still an entitled scumbag to you people ?
  22. You scumbag! Heh, probably true, although I think it'd have ended up that way regardless, companies love lock in after all. Kind of ironic that we'll be going back to that in that case.
  23. Got my project done, and am enjoying that post-alpha bliss where it works for the dev tests but probably is broken in horrendous ways. Still though, this feeling is good, rather disturbingly happy at the moment. Now off to the office Christmas party.
  24. http://www.news.com.au/technology/gaming/s...9-1226216184190
  25. I suppose if you can lengthen the time to it takes break it, you might get really impatient people that'd buy rather than wait for the release. Not sure how large a segment that is though, but it is something DRM can do. Outside of cases like Drive or AC:R, heh.
