https://www.nytimes.com/2023/09/18/world/europe/ukraine-missile-kostiantynivka-market.html NYT looking for trouble, now.

Switched from copper to fiber for phone 5 months back. Now getting what sounds like packet loss, called ISP tech and it seems like my router is the problem. Disconnected everything except the ER-X, still got noise. Disconnect that and noise goes. Switched to a spare ER-X and copied config, still getting it. I guess I use PPPoE in the router, but surprised that would cause VoIP issues 5 months after I set it up. Pain in the neck

And with Kadyrov dead, Chechnya will rise up and be free.

Applies when the rumour is something you like, naturally. I have RUMINT, you have propaganda.

He was rumoured to be ill last year or so, not quite a case of Shoigu dead.

Was fun to go back to form at work - process failing because the memory was below a threshold ? Easy solution, set the threshold to 0

Apparently they liberated Andriivka and encircled and wiped out a brigade. Well so says the Ukrainian MoD, for what that's worth. Liberation of the village seems to be correct, at least.

Guess will wait for new PC to play this

https://www.nytimes.com/2023/09/13/us/politics/russia-sanctions-missile-production.html?smid=nytcore-ios-share&referringSource=articleShare Suspect this is just some scaremongering.

Damage to the dry dock may be the bigger deal.

Considering who it's a donation from, no.

Hah, not sure what is redefining warfare about using a cruise missile.

New races in WoW so doing those, some of these challenge races are pretty hard, one has a super unrealistic gold time. Is also fun to get a good run, and then be 0.01 seconds over the gold time.

And wear a stab resistant vest when on public transportation

https://youtu.be/XsygzlmPEB0?si=4oznHT5BJTi2EK73 At least Vinnie didn't go on about Vietnam being done at the behest of the Illuminati or the Jews or whatever conspiracy BS he's on now.

I said wrecked, not obliterated 😛

Ah thanks to Serbia for beating Canada, media can now stop bombarding me with news about the team.

Sometimes getting fired is the right choice.

Barely counts a development though, was just amusing to come across when skimming a Reddit thread full of people who spend too much time following the war.

The Challenger getting wrecked is real news, I guess it's a slow day - https://www.forbes.com/sites/davidaxe/2023/09/05/ukraine-has-lost-its-first-challenger-2-tank/?sh=1076a28c65f9 Not even sure who that piece is written for, people panicking over one tank ?

No 40k mods yet?

As a political move, sort of picking low hanging fruit. Reznikov wasn't very popular though, it seems. Is just one account but Hauer's reporting has been good (rare person that gives a toss about Armenia) https://twitter.com/NeilPHauer/status/1698458192575877435

https://www.cbc.ca/news/politics/ukraine-leopard-tanks-spare-parts-1.6953968 "It's been quite a quagmire on multiple fronts, unfortunately," he said. "Personally, I thought that the war in Ukraine would actually make all these people a bit more solution-oriented in their thinking, because it's a war at our doorstep." Kind of naive for a defense expert, really.
