Cinema and Movie Thread: flickering images
Lots do, although may be helped a tad by the rest of the new Star Wars media being not that great.

Yep doesn't feel like it was that old, but got the urge to replay it and found out I had Definitive Edition. Not that huge a deal, at least RMB doesn't exit vehicles by default

I still like the outrage over that after fans deceived themselves, half a billion is pretty good scratch. If it were SC3 wonder what the story would be, I guess UED invades again?- What are you Playing Now? - Games don't make you violent, lag does
Wait 6 months, that way critical things are likely to be patched and maybe it will be on sale- Ukraine Conflict - conflict continues

Guess he's trying to leverage the Western public with all this foot stamping. Okay, this was funny - https://www.theguardian.com/world/2023/jul/12/uk-defence-secretary-ben-wallace-suggests-ukraine-could-say-thank-you "Wallace revealed at the briefing that he had travelled to Ukraine last year to be presented with a shopping list of weapons. “You know, we’re not Amazon,” he said. “I told them that last year, when I drove 11 hours to be given a list.”- Ukraine Conflict - conflict continues
https://www.politico.eu/article/volodymyr-zelenskyy-nato-draft-text-on-ukraine-membership-timeline/ Think he's got the wrong idea of the balance in the parties here. Don't think so, just bad when used against civilian targets (pretty much like every weapon I guess). You can still use white phosphorous to burn civilians to death though, just say you were using it for obscuring purposes and it was a regrettable accident.- Ukraine Conflict - conflict continues
Sort of funny to see people excited for this to go on after the war. Really shows you how bankrupt the rules based order is, heh. People still don't appreciate the dangers of sharing things online though, tsk tsk. Not breaking any rules. Now I think the parsing is, well, cluster weapons are bad but they are used in a defensive context so there's no moral issue.- Ukraine Conflict - conflict continues

https://www.cbsnews.com/news/republican-attorneys-general-issue-letter-to-target-about-pride-merchandise/ "The letter did not include any specific demands nor did it outline how they believe the campaign could violate child protection laws, but the attorneys general did suggest that Target might find it "more profitable to sell the type of Pride that enshrines the love of the United States."" https://www.texastribune.org/2023/06/16/texas-heat-wave-water-break-construction-workers/ "Supporters of the law have said it will eliminate a patchwork of local ordinances across the state that bog down businesses. The law’s scope is broad but ordinances that establish minimum breaks in the workplace are one of the explicit targets. The law will nullify ordinances enacted by Austin in 2010 and Dallas in 2015 that established 10-minute breaks every four hours so that construction workers can drink water and protect themselves from the sun. It also prevents other cities from passing such rules in the future. San Antonio has been considering a similar ordinance." "bog down businesses" - figured it was something along those lines. Interesting attitude towards local government, too.- Random/Interesting/Weird
