  1. Reached Part 4 in RtMI. Game's really easy, which is a shame. But at least no really out there puzzles, I guess. Still not all that funny, chuckled maybe once so far. I did enjoy the sequence on the ship. Apparently part 4 is the good part, though, so we'll see.
  2. News cycle moved on from wetting their pants over the reactor.
  3. Speaking of, they crossed $500 M in funding recently
  4. Have to co-ordinate your putts - sink one to move a mechanism so the other player has a path to the hole ?
  5. Some of the Azov may go to Turkey to sit out the war though
  6. Yes, I believe that is the scare tactic pitch. But had meant new stuff - Abrams, ATACMS, F-16s, etc. Then again, I find retired US generals blather on a lot and are of dubious value, at least the ones that pop up on CNN et al. . Clark and Flynn got stars right ?
  7. Hm, with this Ukraine shouldn't need any new weapons sytems regardless then.
  8. Skeptical of his statement, "We have long supported and permanent seats for countries in Africa, Latin America and the Caribbean.” Also for a chuckle - “As we manage shifting geopolitical trends, the United States will conduct itself as a reasonable leader. We do not seek conflict, we do not seek a cold war. We do not ask any nation to choose between the United States or any other partner. But the United States will be unabashed and promoting our vision of a free, open, secure and prosperous world and what we have to offer communities of nations.” As per Guardian feed, at least. Watched the speech, impressed he mentioned only using the veto for critical issues.
  9. What would NATO's aim be there - expulsion of Russian troops from Ukraine ? Or further to police the use of nuclear weapons. Probably better if it's just a separate coalition I guess, don't have to bother with it being NATO's business that way.
  10. Kofman's comments, fairly reasonable. Wish he'd use Medium or something, though.
  11. Didn't say I was active. But okay, the culture war bull**** pervades many threads it should not, but anyway, Putin will denazify the Codex after Ukraine hopefully.
  12. I've been there for long enough to know you wrote nonsense. Yeah, I'd read the stuff about casualties at the time, but even in many articles they just state it and that's it. As usual with most Russian stuff, seems very opaque from outside. But for this kind of mobilization, the poor can go first and no one will care that much.
  13. i guess, wouldn't aspire to ending up like that place, else you'll turn into some moron bringing up SJWs or "woke" apropos of nothing.
  14. I keep seeing stuff like this, but with nothing backing it. Sort of funny to see the Russians do a stop loss. That's rich. Good to see the top minds still don't know what whataboutism is.
  15. It's not necessarily though, if the village has civilians present and they know it then it is. Lots of wiggle room when they did up these rules. with WP they could also have the excuse that they were just obscuring themselves. RuAF sure loves incendiary weapons though - I guess this village was out of range to get thermobaric'd into oblivion at least.
  16. Civ 4 was the apex for me, although I played less than I did for Civ 2 (ah to have that much time to waste and not end up homeless) 2 hours in to RtMI....not sure what the praise is for as of yet, nothing amusing, a lot of call backs I guess.
  17. Pretty sure it's meaningless in end. Is moved to coincide with start of the business day in the eastern part of the country (well or not, Moscow's 7 hours behind Khabarovsk, damn). Obviously, the asiatic horde button has been pressed.
  18. Politicians can't be on time any more. Looks like nothing today/tonight
  19. Okay, don't mind the music in that one. Also might not be a war crime if there aren't civilians present, as if they fled in fighting or whatever.
