    They got some publicity on big gaming sites and together with the Paypal they might get 1,500,000. If they set up a new Kickstarter for this though, I might cancel my pledge for Dreamfall Chapters. I'd really have liked if this were a kickstarter by itself.

    Well I'm not privy to the example you are, I'm just imagining it as people posting it online without some sheepish or guilty tone as 'proud'. Also people who say they'll personally boycott a product deal with cheap shots about how gamers have no balls when it comes to such things so people disproving that are probably proud of the fact.

    Not seeing any issue with people being 'proud' with not buying any games from a company - they've made their decision to not bother, after all which is generally in line with your thinking. Minor distinction anyway between convincing people to not buy Ubisoft games which affects their income and stating that you'd like to see the company crumble, if you think about it. People verbally bashing on the company is fine as well, people expressing their dislike in a way, I always just read that as the person stating they'd not care a whit about the company blowing up. It's not as if they're planning to murder key company men or something really worth distressing over.

    A productive day, well at least one I don't feel guilty about. Over lunch watching some guy talk about how to DM games and so on which is making me miss playing PnP games. Also, beware of the Danes.

    Might be able to cheat a bit by having the action away from previous areas, so have us mucking about in Nilfgaard or some such place. do say it'll affect characters though.

    I'd find it just as silly and cringe worthy. Might be a bit more funny though, given the games Obsidian turns out.

    Mainly a day of trying to remain conscious. 2 hour phone conferences do not help this.

    Or who has access to a reliable translator, in any case. We need more nationalistic agitator posters, maybe we can get some vehemently pro-Mexican or Canadian poster as a start.

    Well, it would cut down on the pirating at least for casual folk - debatable what fraction they would be - who'd end up buying the DVDs in the end like my coworkers (asked them why they don't just save the files but apparently it's not the same or some silliness ). But then not everyone is a saint like folk here.

    Ah, well then you shouldn't believe hype from players about writing Wonder if it was a localization problem as well, like the "Triss, babe" line really meant to be something like "Triss, child" (changed that in the EE).

    Well that line having that much significance to you is what's confusing me, but as you do. Been ages since I played, but I do recall the Chandler and Brown references being a good sign the game wasn't intensely serious (few games are, anyway).

    Hm, didn't they say their vision was gaming as a service at an E3 a while back ? Not that surprising.

    The lady playing Alia was cute though. The scene with her being possessed by the Baron was a bit..uh...odd, though.

    Could have left the tank gun off the engine intakes, that's just silly.
