Weird, tutorial in the release and I presume the free one is just Cooper doing firing range stuff, or flying around in safe environments (why Force Recon fly UH-1s I dunno). Guess the demo was different, strange. Not that interesting that the mod is more popular than the game itself either, given that the base game is a military simulation game (and the niche appeal that has). See DayZ players in Arma 2 servers for some rather funny approaches to the game Addons for Arma 2 were a huge part - sound mods, vehicles, weapons or more significant ones, so I guess if Steam fscks that up it'll be bad (unlikely). The reaction to this is funny to me. Alot of BIS fans seem to be a bit grumbly about it on the forums, not liking DRM and all. DayZ people seem giddy about mods being easier to install and patching being easier, heh. I wonder if it'll ever pop up on GOG, though.

Almost finished Dreamfall. Well ok, watching a LP of Dreamfall - doesn't seem I missed much on it. Civ IV game is entering the era of tanks, so naturally the Chinese are swarming me with them, and don't have gunships yet so can't hunt down their oil supplies that easily.

Yes, as I said banning just 'assault weapons' is incomplete - your point is aimed for a total ban on all guns. As seen around here there's been 3 teenagers that have been shot to death by pistols, actually pretty much every murder in this city for the last decade has been by pistols. Heh, but small body counts so no one cares .

Have there been that many mass shootings in the UK ? Quick search indicated there was 3, two with rifles although one used a bolt action. Might have missed some. In any case, banning just 'assault weapons' (whatever one chooses to define it as) is a fairly incomplete solution, makes good PR I suppose.

Hm, must have been mistaken then - could have sworn I heard a report that he used the two Glocks rather than the rifle. Reducing casualty list with no semi-auto rifles, maybe, not much less than with pistols. Although the idea of a ban working is pretty funny.

I don't really roleplay much in the games I've played, usually just go with what makes sense to me in that moment (so I'm probably doing it wrong ). Haven't really had much problem playing female characters in ME, TOR or even things like TLJ/NOLF.

There's a nice realistic aspect to it, it does make the gameplay a bit same-y I'll admit - at least in Civ 4 where it's always East vs West and the Americas is a huge prize. Speaking of which, in my game I'm still piling up Chinese bodies while I slowly march east. Cunning plan of them really, they had a wall of vassal states between my lands and theirs so I had to chew through Persia, Germany, India to even get a crack at them.

Meh, my experience dealing with drunks has been rampant idiocy or pathetic whining. They're fun to laugh at though, so there is that. Still, friends don't let friends surf drunk!
