  1. The business card scene is better.
  2. Well, don't really need to lock them to race, kind of boring that elves are the guys for archers and dwarves for heavy infantry. The day/night cycle with NPCs having a daily routine (or maybe more than one for variety) is a nice touch of detail.
  3. And they can sell clothes for it as DLC.
  4. Sleeping in and probably playing EVE.
  5. Heh, a fully automatic weapon in these things is probably less effective than semi-auto. Gun runs through ammo quick, I assume the likelihood of a jam is higher and it's less accurate. So if the guy is using a semi-auto rifle or pistol, he'll probably kill more than he would blasting away Rambo style. So, I think you all really want a ban on all guns.
  6. Eh, I've no problem with people collecting rifles or just having some on hand to target shoot, hunt or keep burglars and home invaders out of their homes. Some cases it's a need or it's just a luxury and everyone has those. Those US murder totals are lower than I though, was expecting 30k or more.
  7. Well, overkill for home defense, hard to say what is. A shotgun is probably more damaging to a person than a 9mm pistol can be, pistol's probably best for that purpose anyway. As for hunting, isn't most assault rifle ammo not suited for that, not due to obliterating the animal but being too weak (have heard a .223 round isn;'t enough for deer hunting) ? Not as if you're blasting them with .50 rounds. Most do seem to argue for a total ban as they just don't like guns. Laughable idea to implement in the US now, though.
  8. Job's that terrible ?
  9. Hm, only game I played that was different really was GW2 and that got rather repetitive to me, regret that purchase, but the public quest and event scheme was good though. Rift, WAR felt similar to me when I played them.
  10. So then every rifle is an assault rifle by that loose definition for the purpose part anyway. I guess the detachable magazine might be the best generalization of one for people for the purposes of banning them.
  11. Replaying Caesar 3 after mentioning it here, good memories. Still hate the stupid market woman not going where I want her to though.
  12. What's horrible about WoW's system ?
  13. 6 isn't that bad, given UI scaling and a decent resolution. I forget how many my IA Sniper had but it wasn't unwieldly. My Paladin in WoW by comparison has far too many useful abilities

Be Prepared from Lion King is the best.
  15. Hm, would a horse be effective in battle as a weapon, well as much as a dog anyway. Maybe if the horse could breathe fire or something.
  16. Well in a story sense, Ewoks are innocent thingies. Sadly all we got was one of them dying.
  17. End of Year Review time at work. Get to hear how much I suck at my job Rather stressing week, this week.
  18. Well, also the portrayal of the other side as loons, heh. Is a pretty vague term for a rifle when you think about it, if you mean it fires a certain kind of bullet, has a magazine of 20/30 rounds and can fire in modes other than semi-automatic, that might work. Then again could always go by the idea that if a military somewhere uses it, heh.
  19. Well, to be fair to him, the other side is doing that as well.
  20. ROTJ needed an Ewok massacre scene, would have showed how evil the Empire was and such.
  21. Brave trolls those guys. Think they have the KKK protesting them, heh. I guess they're hoping someone shoots at them or something out there.
  22. Will it have a tragic and traumatic back story ?
  23. My guess is the ever growing powers of the federal government over the people. Seems to be a big issue, or so I read every now and then. Heh, funny story related to this, was that an old WW1 pistol was found in a furniture store, was left in a drawer when it was donated, a Torontonian opened the drawer saw the gun and then fled from the store screaming.
  24. Between those two ? I doubt it.
  25. Whenever something like this happens I always see news spots about gun control, the parent are to blame, the kid was ****ed, etc etc.. Never "does our culture somehow breed this behaviour?" "Why do we have so many shootings, could we as a society be doing something wrong".. It's, from my point of view, always focused on the regional or laws. Maybe it's just easier to dismiss when it's such a huge country, but I would never blame gun control or lack thereof, if people started going crazy here - I would naturally assume that something in our culture was leading instable kids to the conclusion that murder was the only way out. Espeically if was this frequent. As for better sources on school shootings.. To be fair we would need to compare all kinds of violence in schools, from knife attacks and shootings to regular beatings - and then see if America has a higher frequency. I'll have better time wednesday, so I'll try to see if I can find some articles about it. I've seen reports asking what you said - although that just leads to more magic bullet type solutions such as games, violent movies, lack of family values or what have you. Focusing on the regional law makes sense for the US, as things vary so much from state to state or so I think. Hard to know what Americans are doing as whole, heh, but I doubt they're thinking but ignoring some problem with their "system" or way of life or whatever. They have others lined up to tell them, anyway
