Errant Gamer critique of Stanley Parable
Malcador replied to alanschu's topic in Computer and Console
Well, I can see why people are raving about this game and how deep it is. Better than his video on games being political too, heh. -
Gifts, heh, no. My company is all about work, well the clique of old and wife-whipped devs anyway. Most of the guys I used to spend the party with sarcastically mocking the dinner have resigned or left the country so I might just claim I have videotapes to return at 8 pm. People will be pretty chatty, even if it'll be about their work or their kids. Sadly not enough time for me to prepare a brief on possible topics so I won't be talking much.

Got three fillings, that numbing stuff is irritating. And have to get another tomorrow. Two are just from clenching teeth, but better get flossing again. Week off is over with, so preparing for work and Christmas "party" with coworkers next week.

Well, the first game he shows up to just mock Geralt and/or take Jacques, the second game mentions him in the flashbacks so I was expecting him to show up in some Letho-like role throughout and at the end.

Finished off Strike Suit Zero, game was ok. I guess I hated the combat as I was doing it with KB&M rather than a stick. Defense missions are annoying in that it seems everything is up to you as your wingmen are useless and the AI is savvy enough to know to primary you at all times. But the mecha suit does wreck stuff (blinding explosions, yay..) so it was fun over all

Given the first two games, it is pretty clear the King is going to be the guy you have to settle something, no ?
-
Moor**** would have sued by now, though he'd have to do it to Sapkowksi, no ?

Space Colony, seems like it'll be micro-hell

Hardly. EU's land area is 10,180,000 sq km, Continental US is 9,826,675 sq km. 52 EU countries and 48 US states, we're talking about equally sized puzzles and the pieces average out the same so it'd be similar in terms of pointing them out All wiki'd stats, so take as you will.

Freaks.

Well, he does retire monsters. Hopefully they can work in some Bruxa getting shot with bolts as she slow-mos her way through stained glass windows. Hm, wonder if they dubbed Roy's speech in Polish anywhere.

I gave it a glance before and it did seem interesting to me. Kind of like the 40k RT PnP game was my impression, I decided against the gamble when it looked like the project was really doomed (Not much logic there, but eh)

Should have called it Great Old Games. Then it could have been GROG.

And just spying, not like they blew up an ally's ship or something. That'd be biting the hand that feeds. Social media posts gets sex offender another hearing Truly a bigot.

Space Fans: X Rebirth has a Release Date!
Malcador replied to Luridis's topic in Computer and Console
I have tried. It's not a good idea. -
That too, you dismember one corpse on the street and people just raise hell. Laughing at myself on how my day was ruined by finding out I need to get two fillings due to tooth damage (clenching my teeth while I sleep I guess). Little things have big effects I guess.

Wait. Familiar cry? Sounded exactly like the call in "Passchendaele" by IM to me. Should have taken a photo, they could be eagles, but a group of them circling at 75-100 feet seems unlikely.

Walking out of the hospital today, heard a familiar cry and looked up. Three vultures circling in the sky at least from the wing span and appearance, seemed like a fair guess although I am no ornithologist. Talk about a good omen for people visiting.

This ship designed especially as killer of carriers. First hypersonic missile salvo just covered entire carrier group. Intercept of hypersonic targets it's very difficult task (as we see above for US navy even intercept of sub-sonic targets is very difficult task). As we see in Syria, even small amount of modern Russian anti-ship missiles increased risks for US too much and huge Nato war machine is stopped. http://youtu.be/m5hhvQIkKgg Comparing of US Guided Missile Cruiser's armed by subsonic missiles and Russian's ships armed by hypersonic missiles is not correct. Russian design own unique classes of ship and traditionally they are better armed than same size US navy ships. Yah, but the point is that super cruiser is just one ship, I don't imagine it has the air defense needed to repel a carrier wing and other surface vessels in a fight. Subsonic missiles can still blow the hell out of the Russian boat, after all, even if it does take the carrier with it. For some reason I'm recalling some stat about carriers being built to take 8 cruise missiles at least, but that seems like some mil-porn stat.
