What you did today
Irritated by Lenovo's behaviour, got my sister one of their laptops last year. So am going to check hers out to see if has the Superfish malware on it. Lenovo's response to this is golden by the way - "The relationship with Superfish is not financially significant," the statement says. "Our goal was to enhance the experience for users. We recognize that the software did not meet that goal and have acted quickly and decisively." Hm, surprised not hearing alarmist posts about Chinese intelligence being behind this all. Other than that a pretty ho-hum day.

What benefits are there to that ? Other than I guess the people liking you more from just rolling over for them, so to speak.

Ah okay, I shall update Obsidian_stalking.txt.- The consequences of political correctness
Huh, I had thought Shady's wife was Russian proper rather than from Baltics. Odd segue, anyway.- The consequences of political correctness
Heh, figures. But don't really see him saying that, just that it was safer in smaller towns. Security is just one factor, right ?- The consequences of political correctness
Well, it would be the truest sign - in that there'd be little debate on it. But having never experienced that kind of state (back home is just crime ridden), I'll yield to you guys on that.- Interesting developments in some USA Media circles
Well, thinking about that it's not that hard - you have to trust a lot of people any given day. I've had to trust the elevator guy to have done a good job, the girl at the coffee shop to not poison me. Hm, though I suppose the "not murder me" standard might be holding the bar too low - it's actually interesting to think on the many ways you can die from some nutjob - poisoning your food, push you in the road or on subway tracks, just stab you in a crowded sidewalk, etc.- The consequences of political correctness
I thought it was the armed guards everywhere.- Diablo 3 new patch

You did a lot more than that in the GG thread, heh, but whatever - that's Bruce for you.- The consequences of political correctness
Well, Fionavar's latest postings is what I was referring to, as it does seem like something new enough to warrant an announcement. Not that there's less freedom or what ever you'd wish to call it - I have a funny feeling on how long that time out is going to be and what the ultimate desire behind it was. But no matter really, moderators are a wall to speak to so to speak.- The consequences of political correctness
Well you flounced out of that thread several times after just stoking things up, so does seem like you were just trolling the thread with your silly act. Which is fine really, just don't pretend it was anything more than that - I highly doubt someone like you would ever be won over or something to make your purpose in there for something more lofty.- The consequences of political correctness
We didn't just have fights here, we used fight wars here. It has definitely cooled towards the boring side of the meter. But the truth is among the regulars everyone knows everyone's politics and we're all so stubborn it's impossible to change anyone's mind so why bother? Hey, there does not need a chance of victory for a fight to be fun- The consequences of political correctness
Seems people went there to discuss it perfectly fine or just pop in to snipe at others and then leave. Or are you continuing your joke that you went there to discuss it.- The consequences of political correctness
Nah, they are fun to argue with. Forum is dull unless you can have fights.- The consequences of political correctness
Hope so, not that it'll matter much with the new ideas on making this a 'safe space' or whatever the invented terminology is. Hey, this means oby might get banned - I guess Walshingam may climax if that comes to pass Hm, well in terms of offering a practical solution it's not a cure all - but this is just all text on a screen and there are mechanisms to hide content you are unable to handle without having some distress over. And "HTFU" is good advice 65% of the time in life.- What you did today
Preparing for my exciting online course in Android development, is something to do at nights.- RANDOM VIDEO GAME NEWS
Irritating host aside, this does look promising - though I feel like waiting a month or so to see how it goes given the hype of "SimCity minus the suck" going on around it.- The Weird, Random, and Interesting things that Fit Nowhere Else Thread..
