That is the whole point of the news thread in C&C. Bringing some info without the usual crank editorializing is perfectly fine in my book.

Finished off Master of Mankind. Thankfully doesn't go into the Emperor's perspective and just lets you see how the Custodes or Techpriests see him. Kind of a downer to see him give up and say Chaos wins or subtly suggest Abbadon is greater than Horus - but have to consider the author.

Heh, and not the same thing said by either. And that is the point of the Breitbart defense. Note how Obama frames it a bit better. Not that Carson deserves more than usual ridicule for him saying stupid things, in any case. Also, in regards to whining about double standards, I can hear glass shattering in the distance.

The latter half of Carson's statement is the winning part. Have to say, what boils down to "he did it first" is a wank defense. But have to consider who you are dealing with.

I say we put all left extremists, all violent Nazis and all violent religious fundamentalists just together on one field in the middle of no where and let them do their thing Or we could do the smart thing and line them up and cut their throats in sequence. Sounds like someone converted to Islam... Sounds like soemone needs to look up gang activity in some places. Funny enough back home, decapitation was the big thing. Not even sure why in most cases (you'll get hilariously racist answers there) but people have to act like animals I guess.

getting rid of previous rules who promoted slavery is not extremism in my book, if he killed anyone who was not part of his movement that would be probably different story. Only revolution which didn't get rid of previous rulers was ours (Velvet revolution) and it sucked Its like you would mark Lincoln as extremist https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reign_of_Terror At least my recollection of him being a murderous fellow was somewhat accurate.
