Forgot with Americans you need to telegraph a joke better, but thanks for the lecture, I needed a laugh today. Luckily I am in a place where access to US media is prevalent, to the point many here think they are in the US. That said, not even sure how Canada came up, Volo must have traumatized you lot.

Don't think a day will come when infantry don't dig in. Both sides have been doing trenches in this war so far, at least those are zig-zagged (all these OSINT-junkies always deride them for doing straight lines, when the idea it's hastily done is unacceptable).

I said business not consumption!

Some plumbers and electricians I've spoken to do pretty well. The dude that kept a couple thousand in a cash roll probably was doing some other side business, though.

Most assume it's Russia tidying him up, they did it before with a DPR official I believe. They've been blowing bridges, and have heard they were pulling units back. Seems like this will be a fairly orderly withdrawal more than anything.

People overreact. On Reddit you'll see people stating stuff like "This conflict is going to be studied by military historians for generations.". Then again, people still saying this is an elaborate trap.

Ukraine has outnumbered the Russians for sometime, if I recall Guess they are 6 ft tall not 3, heh. And there's the announcement

People saying Kherson withdrawal will be announced soon.

Typical American... Problem is though, it'll be so gradual that Florida Man will just spread. A single, decisive and devastating strike is needed.

Ukraine must be truly incompetent to not have won by now then 😛

Can use lower quality troops to shield better ones that need rest. I think Ukraine used their TDF in a similar fashion, at least in intent, not as poorly as Russia seems to be using these. And defending with them is not as bad as using them as attack.

Good thing Greene is an outlier in the GOP.

Interesting reading on the air war. Well or as it seems both sides trying to avoid getting blown out of the sky by the SAMs -https://rusi.org/explore-our-research/publications/special-resources/russian-air-war-and-ukrainian-requirements-air-defence They do mention Gripens being a good option for donation.

I'd prefer we do it the opposite way we do it now, extra light at the end of the day in winter is nicer for me.

Returned to Afterlife, very rough going back to a city builder from 1995 or so, but the banter with the advisors is amusing and the details on some of the punishments are funny as well.

Propaganda is a wonderous thing

News to me that I did. Is just the amusing experience of the war and its marketing.

It's always funny how Ukraine can literally do no wrong.

Don't think it's to Russia's advantage to destroy it

Well, the geopolitical concern. https://www.nytimes.com/2022/11/05/world/europe/kyiv-ukraine-electricity-russia-infrastructure.html https://news.yahoo.com/ukraine-bipartisan-us-support-until-193600576.html?guccounter=1&guce_referrer=aHR0cHM6Ly93d3cuZ29vZ2xlLmNvbS8&guce_referrer_sig=AQAAAG6m9252r6RCLjPLGjYsxhPezC5jnkEywryxjApDBed59m1doPPXyry86Odw6t-Y4N7E7h5ea0Gg0LG4TuVtzlsUKep_QG91kNwf8HLNx1Pidn4r21Ga2JEMA1DfczFEp4FnLf3agv0CfgwaoYGJ-r1IgfitxlIgdh2mMn8Y7dDm Related to the power concern, the big transformers are a big weakness, cost a lot, aren't exactly churned out. My dad's company makes these, they must be loving this

That just proves Antifa is everywhere.

Interesting to note what this person marked as obscure or forgotten.
