  1. Heh, it's neat how the story changes. He was armed, then he was unarmed, then he was unarmed but had guns nearby. Now only one out of the 5 was armed ?
  2. Stuff you probably knew about
  3. Well, it's right that its handled in a silly way, but relative to other games nothing that upsetting. The "mature" setting did involve more than the whores, as well. I did laugh at two of the women though - the half elf and the sister in the village, the former is especially random.
  4. Either way.
  5. Entered work late due to some lawyer/banker douchebag getting trapped in the revolving door and my deciding to watch him and the firemen who "rescued" him rather than walk around and go to work. That's the third person to be trapped in the doors here in a year.
  6. Will be funny to see what they're doing.
  7. Well, I guess that sucks for Australians. Oh well.
  8. While that photo is sad, that cat sure is liking the hug.
  9. So apparently he died in 2001 of Marfan's syndrome.
  10. I'm perfectly happy with the word assassination. I prefer 'retirement'.
  11. And thread gets locked soon. Reading a report on Obama et al. watching it, kinda recalled that scene from Patriot Games, heh.
  12. Kind of a moot point though, isn't it ? Big powers do this crap often.
  13. So, why are we sneering at Americans again ? Just trying to keep on message here.
  14. What exactly is that going to do for you ? Well unless you have some kind of death fetish
  15. Well, apparently a movie is in early stages for the Hunt for Bin Laden.
  16. Well, that's a Canadian for you. Slamming Ignatieff for being power hungry is a bit amusing when you look at the other two. Same thing. One fear mongers for a majority, the other one has been gaming since Martin and now is weaker and might get his throat cut in Quebec next time. And the coalition boogeyman is permitted in our system, one which people are a-ok with the executive being tied to the legislative normally. So don't really get this intense loathing people have when he's qualities that...all politicians have, who knew the ads worked. Any event, he's gone as leader. Trudeau or Rae next, woo. I should haved voted Liberal though, Lang tried hard although he's in Layton's home.
  17. Preparing to suffer through another night of "drinks" with the coworkers, always do this when some big wig is in town. Then again, maybe I'll just say I have some family stuff to take care of.
  18. Corp joined an alliance in EVE. Funny how that came to be : corp mate is friends with the alliance leader in real life, so that made it go smoothly. Now the sucky thing is having to pack up and leave my area and head all the way to their space. Ugh, thank God for Jump Clones.
  19. Hm, I guess I took his statement the wrong way.
  20. Should probably get back to playing this. Got distracted by EVE.
  21. They'll never admit that one of their high-tech toys got shot down unless there is no way to deny. See the F-117 in Serbia. I guess most forces would do that though, better to make yourself look incompetent at maintenance than admit your adversary inflicted some harm. Doubt that there was anything particularly fancy in the chopper, which I assume is a Blackhawk. Also, krookie meant the Europeans in this thread, no ?
  22. Eh, is like pretty much all other countries.
  23. Apparently it was a mechanical issue, so they just torched it themselves. Odd how they always have mechanical issues in combat zones.
  24. Parliament is untrustworthy ? Interesting to state that given our system of government. Then again, you're in Tory country, so figures, heh. Glad I voted Green. I don't mind Ignatieff, better than the Reformer wearing blue we have as PM. Although I hesitate to ask why he's stupid and pathetic to you. You Canadians are indeed funny people.
