Which game are you looking forward to?
bugarup replied to Dr DC Fate's topic in Computer and Console
I wish Icepick Lodge would finish Bachelor route for "Pathologic 2" next year, because now when I know they're on it I can't play it because I want to do it in proper order, Bachelor then Haruspex. -
Pathfinder Wrath of the Righteous, Part 3

That's weird. I couldn't make 5 steps without meeting him in Act 2. Again. And again and again... -
Spirit-o-meter was a non-issue on suppressive goody-goody runs, but on soul glutton runs you could easily die when travelling on not totally full stomach. Still, manageable and I liked it. 'sfunny how I love tricky resource management systems like in MOTB or "Pathologic" or "The Void" or even long term timers like in Fallout 1, but short term timers where you must race somewhere IMMEDIATELY RIGHT NOW NOW NOW GO!!! make me feel something between road rage and stepping barefoot in dogsh†t.

I love everything zombies, but I get you guys - I feel the same way about high aka "poor man's Tolkien" fantasy. Really liked Dead State, wish there were more of it, also have both Dead Ages, might give them a try around Christmas if I'm ever able to unglue myself from "Kenshi". ...now when I think, I probably own every zombie adjacent game on GOG, even ones I kind of don't get, such as Dying Light. Like, open world parkour, wtf, why did I even buy it...oh, right. Zombies!

I hate TW2's combat more than TW1's. My last attempt at TW2 at least took me past tutorial, but I stalled in some forest-type corridor labyrinth where I was passing time until some 8-17 workhour schmuck arrives to his office or something. I hope there will be proper cities somewhere ahead and not just bloody stupid corridor dungeons, because OCD demands to finish TW2 before doing TW3 and I am sooooo unmotivated to finish TW2.

Pathfinder Wrath of the Righteous, Part 3

You can't? You can put it on auto just as that KM fluff, but you can miss out on some useful loot this way. Unless they sneaked that toggle in some patch or something? Anyway, there's a mod that makes all crusade fights auto-win, though. -
What do you mean? That was such a Guy Ritchie film trailer it could be its own parody.

Not completely unrelated. Thank goodness Sergio Leone's films are way too slow for modern sensibilities and therefore safe from rebootvel lunacy.

And I thought my 700 hours was, like, a lot ... Aaaaanyway. I parked my character before prestige class choice at the end of Chapter 2 with intention to wait for moar fixing because absolutely nothing in WOTR's story had that "Oooooh, cannot wait to see what happens next!" quality for me therefore no rush to play it asap. Truth be told I liked KM's story better, because as poorly written as WOTR, at least it was less cheesy than that pandemonium schlock. As for mounts, I tried all pets + summons party in KM, gave up on the umpteenth labyrinth and no way I'm adding any of those path blocking blighters to my party ever again. Still, one day I'm gonna finish it, so @thelee if you came up with a gamebreaking build or three (that preferably does not have a level in f--ing monk), it'd be delightful to steal see them here.

All is fine, Keyrock, don't you worry - they are actually named after SOMA's PATHOS-II stations.

And a lot of countries have "Independence from the Brits" day.

Pathfinder Wrath of the Righteous, Part 3

Owlcat's "community liaison" on reddit dropped a hint here and there that there likely will be some sort of enhanced edition, though it'll probably just be concentrated QoL stuff. I plan to wait for it anyway, as Kingmaker's edition actually did away with some annoyances. Fingers crossed someone does a "Skip Enigma" mod in that time. -
Nothing in that article says that "yes, there will be a DA4"?

Watched new "Blade Runner", by the same dude who did new "Dune". It was a visual treat that Stanley Kubrick himself wouldn't be too critical of, but thematically it was not like original film at all. Also kind of stupid.

Dune (2021) is totally absolutely big cinema screen movie. I'm sure you would have liked the worm if you saw him on the big screen.

Anime - Magical Girl Anime Thread, hajimarimasu!

While fashion sense of those dudes is...questionable (though I had a shirt in exact same color and pattern as Third-from-Right's...shorts over tights? Or is that a backwards apron? Anyway, what I am saying is, who am I to judge), at least their heads and faces do not look, like, equivalent of car models of the eighties. Though this looks like concept art and in anime itself they probably look that, don't they.- 525 replies

I was idly wondering about that too, because those damn kids is one of (many, many...) reasons I am annoyed with JRPGS. Methinks it's because high schoolers is the major target group in Japan and gaming industry is simply catering to them?

Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous Part 2
bugarup replied to Amentep's topic in Computer and Console
Thanks! Does bombardier have good synergy with the Trickster? Cause it looks like there's no mythic path that's ideal for bombardiers, though I remember reading here it goes well with Lich and I cannot see how exactly, but then I have zero knowledge in Pathfinder tabletop... As for Big Bads, as someone who hated both of them I am v. happy that Owlcat also provided means to give them a colossal middle finger.
