  1. Oh well. I'll wait for Trickster fix patch and meanwhile run my other parties through those boring, boring, horrible, unfun, did I mention boring, low levels. Speaking of them, am I doing something wrong with Camellia or is her consistently doing 0-1 damage just a low level thing? I was using Woljif and his sneak attacks before, decided to give her a chance and she's dead weight. I'm keeping her a Shaman with that faceiceplant thing and a rapier which appears to be as deadly as a mosquito bite, both with her default cold iron one and Finnegan. Seelah in defensive stance does, like, 20 times more damage than her. Also, I somehow managed to clock in 97 hrs in the game even if I play more RTWP than TB, have crusades on auto-win mod and I only have one party at the start of Chapter 3, one starting Chapter 2, one doing the end dungeon before Chapter 2 and two more just out of tutorial dungeon.
  2. I just started watching this too. I usually prefer my comedies blacker, but the cast is so likeable (especially the kid and Asta and Darcy) that now I don't want bad things happening to them. So far it's funny and very watchable.
  3. I planned for holy and force bombs indeed. Crit range comes from a Trickster feat, and sneak dice from underground chemist, but why 4 levels and when should I take them? All in batch or should I scatter them a bit? I'm afraid I won't be able to do Angel, also Azata because I'm more of a roleplayer than powergamer and in this case cheese gets bit different meaning. "I came to save the world and ya'll, puny mortals, also to moralize at everyone within earshot! Behold my shiny halo and utter absence of sense of humor! " "Tra la laaaaa~, I'm so twee I piss rainbows and sh†t cookies! Teehee! " Yeah, how about f†ck no.
  4. Dusted off save files since Owlcat's community liaison on reddit keeps dropping giddy hints at big new shiny patch. Decided to postpone Bomber/Trickster until second playthrough when I'll have better grasp of the game because right now, no matter how hard I squint I cannot see any synergies between those two. Will be going with a sorcerer Lich instead, since it's more intuitive, plus if I spec him into summoning/conjuring I'll be less annoyed about spells constantly failing to hit. Almost had forgotten how irritating that broken plaza is and how unfun is the game at low level.
  5. Pathfinder has the same problem for me as every Bethesda open world RPG - the setting fells like a theme park, not a coherent world, also if dictionary entry for word "derivative" needs an illustration, they should look no further than Pathfinder. I find Obsidian's settings both more original and more believable, with a little side effect of it being hard to be mean to characters there, whereas Pathfinder's world and characters make me want to go full Nerat on them.
  6. Watched "Mamma Mia!" yesterday (not quite on my own full will but eh). If Larian of Divinity games fame started doing movies, this would be it. Cringed in every second scene and wanted to strangle every character. Yikes.
  7. Not sure if this belongs here or in Funny
  8. Very nice art, Agiel. My sewing kit consists of one black and one white spool that are kept wherever cats cannot reach them. I keep nails, screws, clippies and other random doodads in my royal dansk cookie tin so that dragon would probably be even more disappointed. (Also from everything I saw so far it seems that I should avoid playing Azata lest I want diabeetus or at very least, teeth plaque. )
  9. In NWN2 I only ever started paying attention when big red dragon completely wiped the floor with my party, I dropped difficulty to easy and she wiped the floor as easily again. So I searched for help and - "wow, there's a whole system under it? Cool!" And there was a lot of stuff on Internet useful for a newbie - how things work in general, builds and stuff - that was based on the game itself, not general PnP rules. Makes me wonder why there's no such thing yet for Pathfinder after two supposedly popular games.
  10. I loved him in "The 51st state"
  11. I say it is a reasonable price, although as someone who has it on CD and on Gamersgate and GOG I might be a little biased. It did not run smoothly on Windows 10 for me, there was some weird graphical glitch, but I remember googling some workaround that worked.
  12. They did veto movies from distribution in the past, like "Dogma" and I have a sneaking suspicion they still practice that, can't be arsed to sniff for sources though. Cannot comment on superhero schlock as I don't care for it unless Taika Waititi or Deadpool is involved, but didn't they switch SW directors after "The Last Jedi" turned controversial for more "traditional" (but also stupider) next installation whatsitsname? Also, didn't they fire some director over 10 years old edgy messages and Mandalorian's actress over some dumb tweet? Their being allergic to any kind of IRL controversy is IMO as worse than product sanitizing.
  13. Yeah, maybe not that terrible and there is a handful of other outliers, but that only emphasizes tw†tness of the majority.
  14. And he is all blue! (aka "And you thought Scooter was cheesy")
  15. Oh, it will suck. And I bet my hat it'll gloss over how all Silmarillion's elves were arrogant, insufferable, condescending supremacists.
  16. They are bloated and busy corporation, they don't have time to censor everything their subsidiaries do. They even let "Pulp Fiction" slip through once upon the time.
  17. Thanks a lot! Saved for future. As for my imagination isn't good enough to come up with anything but self buffs I'm afraid, but it produced this instead, so that's still a win:
  18. Wasn't saying it realistic, just very very horrible. Imagine kings of everything sanitized, defanged, declawed, homogenous, PG-13, god forbid any controversy gets in, with their army of ever vigilant copyright lawyers on standby owning so many IPs? That's how civilizations end.
  19. Guys, you know what would be REALLY horrendous? This new conglomerate getting purchased by Disney.
  20. Can you please post instructions how to make a celestial velociraptor o'holy smite, Gromnir? The concept's too hilarious not to use, plus very appropriate in the combined world of silly by definition alignments and Owlcat's curious belief that lawfulness = uncompromising brutality. As for Wendy, does she really give "T-thanks for t-t-rusting me bonsai baka-chan... *blush*" spiel at some point? I only met her briefly so far, but she didn't give me an impression of anime waifu type of woman. Also, her original art > that fanart.
  21. Ooh, I'm playing this one too! Alex best girl, Nathan best boy, minigame...not very good, so I still prefer this dev's previous game, "Weedcraft", as my go-to casual-with-a-tea-mug game, since its soundtrack is much better as well.
  22. There is this thing with my Youtube reccomendations, when it offers up something that is definitely not like all the other things in there, and it keeps popping up no matter how persistently I ignore it until I give up and, hey, it appears it is not bad at all. And now I'm off to listen to everything by "Dead South".
  23. I do appreciate quotation marks here, because the sentence's basically the same as "Shark troops will be deployed to help stabilize the ocean in the place of a shipwreck".
  24. I miss Bioware's* writing. Larian, though, should return monkeys to the zoo, sell the typewriters and use that budget to finally hire a writer. * Except Andromeda and Inquisition, these suck too much.
  25. Statistics tells me I've been mostly replaying old stuff in the year of Our Lord 2021. It probably tells stuff about year itself and aspects of my personality too, but whatever. And so - GOATEE of this year would be Kenshi. Which will also prolly be GOATEE of 2022, since I clocked in 400 hours and I am not bored at all yet. It's sort of "What if the SIms were in really cool Mad Maxy setting sans autos but with katanas and also had a bit lolrandom but essentially benevolent gamemaster", and I am addicted. (Note to self: avoid Rimworld until retired, I have a sneaking suspicion it's the same kind of crack). "So bad it's good" trophy goes to Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel". Oy vey...where to start? Walking plywood board for trite motivational posters of a protagonist. Annoying enemies that always run away on defeat, again and again and yet again (speaking of which, ptui on you, Kai Leng!). The most ridiculously insufferable antagonist since (ptui!) Kai Leng. Your team is all children and yet boob jokes everywhere and girls dressed in school uniforms by way of Pornhub, also the majority of characters somehow are bland and overly melodramatic at the same time. Insipid chirpy pop soundtrack. Incest overtones. . Also, very fun turn-based combat system and surprisingly detailed, mature worldbuilding that is so wasted on all those horrible characters inhabiting that world. So, yeah. I am totally going to play the next game in the series. Aaaaand lastly, "I'll come back one day, I promise!" consolation prize goes to those 30+ games I started and never bothered to
